December 7Dec 7 What about Indiana!? Holy smokes I never thought I’d see Indiana football mentioned in any discussion of possible college football Champions! Anybody think they can keep it up through the playoffs?

Monday at 05:21 AM5 days Florida State, Auburn, UCF, Baylor, Rutgers, Temple, Kansa, Iowa State, Notre Dame, and Kansas State have all declined bowl games. The sponsors for these bowls have got to be shitting themselves right now. Edited Monday at 05:21 AM5 days by uhhello

Monday at 01:57 PM5 days And lets be completely clear. There is EXTREME BIAS for Notre Dame...are you tracking the CFP committee made a "special" deal with Notre Dame?In the Spring of 2025 the CFP signed a MOU with Notre Dame and starting next year if Notre Dame is ranked 12 or better under the current 12 team layoff or 13th or better if they expand to 14 teams, Notre Dame is GUARANTEED to be in the CFP. No other team got an MOU like that, yeah no bias at all...

I don't even like ND, though I'm all for them sitting out the bowl game if that's what they want to do. Frankly, if you're not playing for the natty, what good is done by playing in the ma' and pa' waffle house bowl? ND certainly doesn't need the money. Lots of people wrapping themselves into a pretzel to be upset about a team they don't even like, not playing in a bowl that nobody cares about.

Interestingly they spent the last few weeks trolling Miami of several Miami websites but have suddenly vanished now that their bubble has burst. Interesting note about the bowl games, they generate a lot of revenue for the local area where they are played and for the teams, those funds can be channeled into other sports. Did you see the fines being handed out by the conferences for teams skipping a bowl game...$500K per team...such a waste.More than anything I hate the special treatment and the MOU serves to show the bias continues and is blatant even though they haven't won a natty in 32 years.

Some conferences profit share and some don't. Schools are required to buy giant chunks of tickets that often go unsold and leaves the schools on the hook. Schools will spend $1-3 million just to get the team and school to the game and back. With NIL, transfer portal, and CFP, I see a large chunk of the bowls going away. Tuesday at 04:05 AM4 days I think as much as it’s gonna cost them in trash talk, the colleges that said “no thanks we’re out” absolutely recognize their coordinated power to force the expansion. This is effectively public collective bargaining. At the end of the day the league and all the money people behind it are here to make more money.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tuesday at 02:48 PM4 days With the CFP there is no incentive to play in a bowl game. I don't disagree with a playoff system, but I think they should use a BCS style system to determine who gets in. I hate what CFB has become."Get off my lawn!"
Thursday at 01:23 PM2 days So with the Michigan coach getting canned and seemingly going full Waltz, who had this on the bingo card of college football craziness?
Thursday at 04:58 PM2 days AITA for not wearing this shirt to Army/Navy this weekend? UnderArmour 1/4 zip made in Vietnam, so the flag is the equivalent of a red star on a yellow background for theirs. Edited Thursday at 04:59 PM2 days by MexicanHouseRULZ
Yesterday at 01:45 PM1 day I happen to be in Ann Arbor for the week, I should swing by the cop shop to see the media mess. Even as a Buckeye, I hate to see this downfall. What a mess he's made! Hopefully he finds his center and remembers he still has kids that need him. As an aside, if your family ever needs significant pediatric care, you'd be remiss if you didn't explore the University of Michigan medical center. This place is outstanding!
Yesterday at 04:39 PM1 day What, someone is surprised another Michigan coach got caught in shenanigans? Hail! Michigan, the cesspool of the world.Long live section P, Tastes Great, Jump Around, Tequila!
