JBueno
This one's being filed from the ACLU-Karachi branch office, no?
PapaJu
I think these people read a little too much into Seymour Hersh's supposed revelations about JSOC being a super-top-secret assassin squad that no one knew about until he wrote about them. Baseops.Net
That's far enough. Please discuss the frivolous lawsuit; don't bother speculating about the unit in question (or the identity/mission of any SOF unit for that matter).

Usually they seem to be against Christian valedictorian's right to religious references/prayer. Would be a lot more supportive of them if they supported the 2nd amendment as zealously as the others. bfargin
Just sayin... You have to take the bad with the good. Maybe, but they are pretty much idiots who happen to do the right thing every once in a while, as opposed to nonpolitical motivated defense of the constitution per se. Ah! But they have. Granted the number of 2nd amendment cases pales in comparison to the number of 1st amendment cases they take on, but it does happen. ACLU petitions court to get man's guns returned from Broward Sheriff's Office ACLU Defends Gun Rights in New Orleans ACLU of Nevada Opposes Bill Stripping Due Process Rights of Gun Owners If you want, I can provide a link to the stories of them defending the Christians right. Just let me know. Edited September 13, 2010 by Vertigo
Guest Passingby
Maybe, but they are pretty much idiots who happen to do the right thing every once in a while, as opposed to nonpolitical motivated defense of the constitution per se. Doesn't the gigantic list of things in this thread that people on both sides would disagree with kinda completely blow what you're saying out of the water. It is a shame they don't do more 2nd amendment cases, but honestly, I'll take them defending all the other amendments and then I'll drop a buck on the NRA, too. Covered.
FlyingBull
The ACLU isn't as much liberal or conservative as it is extreme libertarianism in it's purest form.
