This is what happens when stupid and/or completely uninformed people make up a majority of voters. Elections have consequences, as they say. And in many cases, it’s really the consequence of rational people being too damn lazy to go vote.

VA politics is driven by the DC metro folks, which is really an extension of Maryland politics. It didn't go blue, it was just having an affair with a Republican.
