No, but if you get one, please let us know.  That looks awesome and I want one, although I could see the 9mm not generating enough gas to cycle properly.  Have a WWII original, but I generally try not to shoot those guns much, more of the safe queens...

My brother in law is now a deputy chief of police but ran weapons and his departments SWAT team for many years.  I was able to train with them a few times and when he first started their officers were carrying the Marlin 9MM carbine modified to accept Glock Magazines.  The rationale was officers only had to carry one type of mag for both pistol and rifle.  I shot it many times in training and it was able to cycle with no jams.  It shot well and was easy to use during transition but my BIL converted the unit to M-4 Carbines because he was worried about stopping power of the 9MM at distance.

Still not convinced after watching several videos...dependability is a big issue for me.

One of the biggest seen benefits of moving to 5.56 by teams that started doing it was the shatter factor of the round leading to lower over penetration of residential walls.

That and the higher degree of idiot proof seen in the AR platforms led to a lot of departments ditching the MP5, which while very sexy is a more expensive and intensive weapon to keep up in an armory.

It's kinda great. It's *very* thin, so thin......

I've only put 150 rounds through it, so it'll take a few more trips to the range to be sure, but for $400 it's a pretty cool gun and quite fun to shoot.

I'll mirror these comments.  I put a Vortex CCW on mine.  The dot is wider than the pistol.

Mine is not accurate.  At all.  It'll suffice at close range, but a shooter it is not.  Might be the dot mount I guess. I haven't trouble shot it yet.

It flings the empty cases a really long way.  Like comically far.

I wonder if you have a bad unit. This is mine at 10 yards using just the stock sights. I'm not going to win any competitions, but the gun is more accurate than I am. I've also been using a red dot as a crutch for so long my iron-sights skills have definitely atrophied. 🫣

Maybe.  I haven't had the time to delve into it too much.  When I shot it, I was just using the head box of a USPSA target at about 10 yards after a match.  Probably a 4 inch group or so.

The dot plate screws sit above the plate, so the dot mount is janky.  ???  Beats me.

It's a Kel-Tec. Janky is included free of charge

It is the Florida-Man of gun companies.

To be honest, I've gotten a bit bored with this guy's videos as they seem to focus on his dumping endless amounts of ammo and massaging his ego.  He knows his shit, but it's always SS/DD i.e., wash, rinse and repeat...

Plus, I've also lost much interest in pistol caliber carbines for the time being for some reason.

Still sharing for anyone interested...

I watched as I am in the market form a small carbine and it looks like it comes up short.  As he mentions there are numerous MP-5 knockoff coming so I will likely wait.

Shot it again, pulled the jank dot plate off and just went irons.  2 inches at 7 yards.

So not great, but better than before.

Man, that's some serious stupidity there.  First of all, carrying a gun in the back pocket of your jeans and obviously sticking out enough for someone to not only see it but easily grab it?  And then following that person when they are now armed and you're not?  The dude gave enough intent by shoving him and pointing the gun at him to show he obviously wasn't giving it back.  Call it a lesson learned and move on.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/armed-gunman-shot-dead-after-opening-fire-sunday-church-service

Churches and schools are some of the places most often legislated to be gun free and most often are the places of a shooting.  Good thing this church thought differently.  Luck is no substitution for a defensive plan.  If anyone in your church protests against an armed defense, tell them to read Nehemiah.

Kinda related, I may be picking up this used (~500 rounds) Ruger PCC Backpacker in 9mm next week when I'm up in the DFW area next week.  I saw one at the Hondo gun show a few months ago and it's been on my mind ever since...

Good buddy of mine has one, they’re a lot of fun to shoot.  I’ve almost bought one chambered in 10mm.

That's the rub (STS), I have more .45 pistols than 9mm and a ton more ammo for them.

But at least 9mm is relatively cheap and easy to find!

Ironically my buddy was (is) in the exact same boat.  His go to pistol is a Canik .45, he also has a Springfield .45 and a 1911 so he shoots way more .45 than 9mm.  His logic was the same; 9mm is just cheaper.

My hiking/wildlife gun is a S&W 10mm so I’ve been toying with buying the 10mm PCC cause I probably shoot just as much 10 as 9, and I like the extra power the 10mm has at extended range.  Maybe I’ll end up buying both.  Decisions decisions….

That looks like a great survival gun.

Don't tell my wife, but I pulled the trigger on the Sig MPX...came with 15 MAGS!

Put my spare EOTECH on it but don't like it.  Might try a Holosun.

Still need a light, might do the combo with the laser.  Thing shoots DEAD on!

Jesus that's a good looking gun.

Is there a barrel extension on that?

That is fucking sexy.  Don't know if it's 1900 bucks sexy but damn.

Not an extension, the standard is 4.5" but they also make a 6", 6.5", 8" and 16" variants.  The 8" is much harder to find but fits me better.
