I didn't want to de-rail the GTC discussion, but if you have the Chase sapphire reserve I would suggest getting the Hilton Aspire card, there are some great benefits to it. $250 dollars for airline fees but I have gotten gift cards with American Airlines with no issues. $250 dollar resort credit at Hilton resorts. A free hotel stay once a year. And probably the best perk is automatic Diamond status with Hilton. Chase waives the annual fee for AD. I am not sure if we can share referral codes but I would happily share mine via PM to get 20K hilton points.

This sounds like a much better idea and use of a Pilot's time. But the AF will never buy in, we have way too many rules and no leaders willing to accept any amount of additional risk. So we will continue to clog up PTX courses with dudes that will fly a different MWS for maybe 2 years before they PCS to some other bright and shiny job...

Yea they said no to that, I think they are waiting to see what the supreme court rules on DACA before they use it as a bargaining chip. I don't understand why they don't try to add in some big infrastructure projects into the bill. The president wants to do that and they usually end up benefiting the large cities on the coasts.

I have a few questions on OCONUS PCS ADSCs. I know it is normally a 2 year single and 3 year married tour, what happens if you get married right after arriving or even before getting to the new assignment? Do they force you to extend to 3 years, i've heard a few different things. Also if you are married and do not want the assignment to last 3 years can you accept an unaccompanied tour even if AFPC wants you there for 3 or do they even care? Thanks

The difference is not huge. KC-46 MTOW: 415K vs. 126lbf is about .3 & the KC-135R MTOW 322K vs. 84lbf is about .26. I'm the difference becomes more beneficial in hot places. Also I thought I heard from someone that they will not really ever be able to use all of those 18 pallet positions for some floor loading reason? Does anyone know if they are updating those gameboy cameras they installed so the boom can actually see worth a shit?

Did it before when they forced us to wear ABUs if we were not flying until I got shut down for not wearing the UOD.
Be careful if they have a UOD defined then you might get in trouble for not wearing it. Which is crap, if these damn army flight suits become mandatory I'll just end up wearing my blues all the time.

I was just about to say that I thought a bunch of Aero Clubs had T-34s before they shut down. Is that website up to date because that T-34 rental cost is as much as a 172 would be at a lot of FBOs. I think there is a good sized group of Vans RV owners on here that can attest to their relatively low cost to own and the huge grins they provide. Plus then you don't deal with the FBO/Aero club queep.
Look into the USAA realtor referral program or whatever they call it now. They give you a good chunk of cash once you sell/buy and they let you choose from a few realtors.
