Does anyone have any information on the details of what it is like to live in Okinawa without command sponsorship for a wife? I've heard a few different things on the SOFA status, everyone in the AF says she would not get it, but i've read some things online that she would because I am stationed there and we are married regardless of PCS orders. Thanks for the help.

Worked out well for me and some some other guys I know. It was scheduled for 5 days of flying last day being the checkride, ended up being 2 days of flying and 3rd being the checkride. PM me for more details.

Some of the more notable airline incidents from Asian airlines have been due to "saving face" and not speaking up. Wonder if this had anything to do with them not communicating at all?

The MoD said one of the aircraft had been seen in the water and the other was classed as "missing". Aberdeen Coastguard was alerted to the incident at about 13:50. An RAF helicopter picked up two people and flew them to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. A search is taking place in the Moray Firth The three lifeboats have been searching an area 25 miles (40km) south of Wick, in the Beatrice oil field, for the two crew who remain missing.
