  1. Jeeeze... My kid has his autograph. I will get it from him and sell it to anyone here for $10. That's 90% off! FM PS: My kid is 30 y. o. Marine and doesn't care...
  2. George Sr., at 89 along with his protective detail, shave their heads in solidarity with Patrick, a two year old Leukemia patient. Thank you Mr. President, and those that serve around you. Pic of his team: Website set up by the SS folks: http://www.patrickspals.org/ FM
  3. It happens every day, so why worry about it? Three days of recent activity... http://www.thereligionofpeace.com FM (edit: add source and make it look more readable) (copy?)
  4. Please excuse a question from an ignorant but curious person: In the simulator, I wonder if you will be able to see how much CG shift can be countermanded with control inputs (elevators/stabilizers fully deflected), i. e. is the airplane even recoverable at near max TO weights? Also, can one maintain enough energy is to keep flying under these conditions? Maybe it can be simulated by moving fuel aft? My apologies if I should not be asking questions like this. I am not looking for numbers, I am just curious if it is possible. FM
  5. I think you are doing a lot of second guessing. Actually, the burden will be on the Commonwealth's Attorney and the Police Leadership, if that even gets tested. These guys in the video will hopefully get to go on with their jobs. Seriously? Send them back to school, so that one of them will raise his hand next time and say, "Sir, this is illegal, I am not going to disturb these people." Their leadership is entirely responsible for them being there and carrying out their actions. One could go a little further and say that Dbag one and two were consequentialist here, and responsible for the entire chain of events. Agreed. Our government needs to be held in check as often as possible when it comes to our civil liberties. However (again), I think this situation was extremely unique. FM
  6. You are mixing apples and chili peppers. The expectation was completely different here, the homeowners knew why Law Enforcement was there. Under other circumstances, like say it is dark, 0300 and one is startled awake by flashlights and shouting - another matter entirely. Exactly, we weren't there. I think the circumstances in this situation were almost unique.
  7. While this sure seems to be another "Norm" established in our free society, and not a good thing in general - I wonder if under these exact circumstances, YOU have an alternative to how they went about their duties? And why do you think these guys should be hauled into court and sued for doing their sworn duty? Of course, I know the answer is that you want to punish them. How far would you go to punish them? FM
  8. From what I saw and heard via comms, the FBI directed much of what took place on Friday, and yet when it was time to be happy (some might say celebrate) the capture of Dbag2, the FBI throttled back and let the local and MA state folks enjoy the limelight. I think the "FBI Guys" deserve a free drink next time I see one. FM
  9. According to the stuff I read earlier, the "Side Wound" is where the physicians sliced into him, in order to get at his heart to try to restart it. The redness around his face and neck is the result of whatever IED he detonated. I see one good sized hole in his side, and count two hits to the left arm. They apparently threw five devices at LE this morning, only three detonated (1 grenade, 4 pipe-bombs). Lastly, his brother, in apparent panic ran him over trying to get away last night. FM
  10. Link to image of dead d-bag#1. NOTE: NSFW http://i.imgur.com/0U0ozqt.jpg NSFW and maybe other places too. FM
  11. Adding to the Rogues-Gallery... I wonder how this girl feels today? (Note pic of dbag#1 below): FM
  12. Some politicians are best viewed in the WTF thread...
  13. What a great opportunity to appease the ChiComms. Perhaps the title of this story should be, "Frightened, Kerry in China to Beg for Help." Actual Story: Link: http://www.nytimes.c...l?smid=pl-share Kerry in China to Seek Help in Korea Crisis By MICHAEL R. GORDON Published: April 13, 2013 Apologies for length (sts), hey it's the NYT. Amusingly, Kerry is working with Wang and Yang. FM
  14. There is a very good chance these actions are all rhetorical, as NK stands to profit from from these activities, and the activities of others right now. There is also a history of this type of behavior, and the attention that it wrought. NK Gain: We have just demonstrated our response. They now know many of the steps we will take in the future to defend the South. This includes everything from our movements to changes in things like what we put on and in the air. An increase in aid from other states. A big win for NK. They are banking on this eventual outcome. Fat-little-boy leader demonstrates his resolve to his people, and leadership. NK can point to an increase in our defensive posture, as an increase in aggressiveness to his people. Lastly, the western press, who regardless of political affiliation, has at its center - profit from an increase in drama anywhere. For the press, no election can be too close, or for that matter any conflict be too close - to drive listeners and viewers. Just one big fart all around. FM
  15. Looks like fresh coats of paint are the biggest thing they have going for them.
  16. At best, to be determined by others. Pure speculation, despite your previous MOS. And, should have known better. FM
  17. I just have to say, that I picture her there, at oh, say 260 pounds, in her bathing suit, with a drink in one hand, and a cigarette in the other. Time to pull the abort lever.
  18. New Price: $ 70.26 Used Price $ 70.27 - $144.31 Sounds like a real investment quality print, and it has already increased in value. Oh, and let's not forget the major news media coverage of your great book: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2272684/Author-Becoming-Fighter-Pilot-lambasted-critics-Amazon-revealed-isnt-actually-fighter-pilot.html?ito=feeds-newsxml#axzz2JstwjtPK FM (Edit: Found even higher used prices!)
  19. Let's remember the Sheriff is elected. What a wonderful coup for him, if he could bust some terrorists. Look at one of the charges, 'causing the disturbance throughout the community.' Yeah, all of the police sirens and flashing lights on the way to the airport. Very sad that some clown got all excited, and look what it cost. This is of course, priceless: "When his attorney returned and said the case would be dismissed if he agreed not to take any legal action against Darlington County law enforcement..." FM
  20. I was thinking Moronic, but that's just me. On separate note, let me ask why PETA has any credibility at all: Opossum Drop halted [by PETA inspired Court Order] in Brasstown http://www.newsobser...-brasstown.html Best line from the story, "...PETA made similar charges about the handling of Punxsutawney Phil, proposing that the Pennsylvania town use a robotic groundhog instead." Well grounded in reality. FM (edit: Piss poor pasting by the author)
  21. "WTF are you talking about? There are over a hundred videos at that link [too]!" FM
  22. Did you mean meandering around the perimeter? (Even funnier) It is one of the Mount Everests of Conspiracy Geekdom. It sells more t-shirts and gets hits on their web site. Don't forget how excited Brits are about spaceflight and airplanes (plus one Canadian dude). Did I say, it sells? I am sure the appearance of security with weapons proves something to them, what it is, I am not sure. I would be looking for the chemtrail tanks. You know, where the "good stuff" is stored. FM
