    It’s also just temporary. May be overthinking it, but this guy’s shinanigans has been made pretty public on these forums. He has pretty much gone against every initiative from higher HQ to at least try to turn the ship around. It’s also no secret that 3 stars and above frequent this board. Coincidence?

    Not all heavies are equal, sometimes big AMC forgets about us herk guys and I would venture to say that being a herk dude down in the tactical mission set while when we aren’t getting boned by TACC has it’s useful challenges, certainly not easy by any means.

    Don’t even get me started! The major EP/WIC types that should be in the squadron mentoring the copiglets are staying at work till 7pm in whatever useless Wing job they have, flying once a month and then going home and working on ACSC...truly sad.

Not saying that he is the end all be all- just that there is some positive pragmatism to his approach when it comes to potential adversaries.

    Of course we care, many of us zipper suited sun gods have enlisted aircrew and/or work in OSSs where we supervise enlisted folks. Anything that allows them more time focusing on their primary job or more time with the family instead of idiotic PME is a win for everyone!

    I’ve told him to his face why at one of his “CGO round tables” on why pilots are leaving. It’s time he starts firing some wing commanders who are still propelling the queep monster while their pilot exec minions’ 90 day time is in the low tens.

    Idk ask any of the mid to senior captains yanked off the Sq flying deployments because their ground job making PowerPoints and editing OPRs is more important. It’s a young man’s game for the most part.

    I’m guessing it has to do with the 100% thing as well - in the sense that they didn’t get enough selects to meet the new demand. Our wing alone sent up 3 DNPs out of about 20 people so if you do the math that’s close to a historical select rate.
