  1. People do just fine leaving after leaving the USAF, if they choose to do so. This is despite the USAF informing them what worthless trash they are. But then again those who said that had opinions that were baseless and really didn’t matter anyway.
  2. Nah, high profile women don't get away with frat in my experience. They may not get court martialed, but they don't keep command. I wonder if the #MeToo movement would come to, assuming it's a he, his defense if he accused her of sexual assault? Fair is fair...
  3. I have a copy of it, however like ThreeHoler said, once it’s posted, it’s flagged for removal.
  4. Well, the key is to be retirement eligible. Then you’re relatively fine. If you’re not? Brush up that resume.
  5. https://www.airforcetimes.com/news/your-air-force/2019/02/12/first-female-viper-demo-team-pilot-relieved-after-two-weeks/?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=Socialflow+AIR&utm_medium=social&fbclid=IwAR0M8v5gFLG12Hn7AFSenM7xHUQWaqWLax45c0-LuS7kC-m0lGwTh2VrXwE The ironic part is the commander who relieved her of command is the same guy who helped make the Korean Gold Bond video in the 2000's.

Just switched banking from USAA to Navy Federal after having USAA for 17 years. After my short interactions with Navy Federal, I'm already impressed. Also, veteran's who have a VA direct deposit qualify for the military checking account, which includes up to $20 per month ATM fee reimbursement.

Just created an account with Navy Fed. Haven’t had any issues so far. I’m looking at moving away from USAA as well.
  8. At least they attempted to lower the gear and land at the right airfield. Apparently there were no prior C-17 pilots on the crew.
  9. That $5.7B, or whatever the media throws out, isn’t the total combined. It’s the start of the process to build the wall. https://www.brookings.edu/essay/the-wall-the-real-costs-of-a-barrier-between-the-united-states-and-mexico/
  10. Because Republicans seized every opportunity to not vote on it. Funding the wall became a White House priority after the Republicans lost the House.
  11. Looks like that initiative went well. https://www.airforcetimes.com/news/your-air-force/2019/01/14/gofundme-to-refund-20-million-raised-by-purple-heart-air-force-veteran-for-trumps-border-wall/
  12. Most Philosophy majors are 😂
  13. Or someone who’s taken an undergrad international political systems class.
  14. Agreed. He graduated from Harvard Law. Agree or disagree, he made a concise point of view.
  15. Not with all the corrosion they keep finding.
  16. The ones that were at Will Rogers? When I was stationed at Altus I would always see them there while driving to OKC.
  17. Enlisted Aircrew have about as much in common with a SARM troop as a fighter pilot does with a Force Support Officer.
  18. Start by not accomplishing a mediocre career or be rich.
  19. Example: https://www.stripes.com/news/pacific/former-fitzgerald-commander-pleads-not-guilty-to-criminal-charges-from-collision-1.536970. This is after the Art 32 hearing officer recommended dismissal of the charges. While the 7th Fleet Admirals are retired: https://taskandpurpose.com/navy-fires-2-admirals-prepares-senate-questions-string-mishaps/ Gotta have a a scapegoat for Congress. She’s also never being indicted with criminal charges for those emails, so why constantly bring it up?
  20. Whataboutism at its finest. Maybe if you were Enlisted, you would’ve been punished. Different spanks, for different ranks. I had a dipshit Sq/CC leave a SIPR hard drive in his computer, in his office, for five days while he went TDY, logged in but locked. He’s currently an O-6. I’m sure he got a ”stern verbal counseling” from the OG and WG/CC...if that. I’m going to assume he didn’t suffer any consequences due him being promoted and being an OG/CC somewhere. Had he been Enlisted the odds were against him of keeping his current rank or some other career ending consequence. However, you’re right, you would’ve been punished. Those in society, who’s opinions matter on the topic, have deemed what a career attorney/politican did isn’t big enough to warrant criminal charges. The lack of action with regard to possible criminal conduct, or negligence, for senior ranking military personnel, almost never happens because they’re too powerful to be punished and the “optics” wouldn’t look good. It seems the only time that the branches want to go after a senior ranking person is when they want a scapegoat to take the fall to prevent more senior personnel from taking a negative hit.
  21. Trump should use Hilary’s emails to build the wall, since no one can get over them.
  22. Maybe if MAF leadership weren’t risk adverse managers.
