Had a 98 Tacoma for years. Beat the hell out of it off-road and it never missed a beat. If I had the $$ and didn't mind the size (bigger than Ford/GMC), I'd get a Tundra. As it is, my next truck will be another Tacoma. My current GMC has been a pain.

I'm doing the same track, same term. I plan to use every flying schedule, exercise, deployment, database, air show, and open house I've worked on for my 7500 hours. As long as you can classify it as initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, or closing, it sounds like you'll be ok.

Doesn't seem like you're that confused. It all goes away. My current base has a stipulation about if you're in the top 10% or something of power users, then you get charged extra. Base housing is probably a pretty decent deal if you're a 2Lt. Probably not so good of a deal if you're a Capt and you get the same "CGO" house. Call the housing office and get on their list. They'll probably want a copy of your orders emailed to them. Usually once you leave your previous base, you're put on the list and they're assigned in that order. Don't know Laughlin housing office specifics, but I bet Hunt does.

In the PMP program, was there interview and resume help, too? I was torn between the PMP and the other track because what I really want is the interview and resume help, but the PMP could be very useful if I end up pursuing a non-flying career.
