It just seems that you have to be on the road to make money which gets old. Fighters can't bum unless you have an alert. Tankers might be the happy medium since they can support a lot of local flights.

The guys over at Airwarriors don't tell people not to go AD or have threads on how much they hate life. They actually encourage people to fly Navy and mention how they are happier than their AF bros.

Wow,someone on here likes AD!! There are a lot of issues but thinking civilian life is going to be better is relative. Have you thought about the Navy, they seem happier?
