  1. I've clearly stated I think climate change is real and we need to do something, but this is not the thing, this is a political stunt that does far more harm than good. I am in favor of actual investments in science not a move that placates the wacky far left and costs thousands of jobs while doing more hard to the environment. How about we use some of that unity we were promised built a real bipartisan national strategy to reduce emissions and convert to renewables before we wreck the American economy. Neither side will be happy int he short-term, but that probably means we have a real solution. Instead we have an out of touch administration playing to the extremes. What a great narrative when John "Climate Change Czar" took his private jet to the climate change summit and said displaced Keystone Pipeline workers "will have better choices” and can “go to work to make the solar panels.” Huh...over 60% of solar panel production is in China...come on man. We are years away from increasing efficiency and increasing large scale solar panel production here in the U.S. at a competitive price point. These people need jobs NOW. Oh and he made those clueless comments while defending his use of the private jet... "The only choice for somebody like me" Come on man!
  2. The irony of Biden's killing the Keystone Pipeline in the name of "Climate Change"....Killing the pipeline will actually INCREASE carbon emissions. To offset the amount of oil lost by cancelling the pipeline the U.S. will have to add 646 Train tankers of oil per day and it will consume 1.4 Million gallons of fuel (usually diesel), everyday to move that fuel. That is the equivalent of adding the emissions of 490,000 cars to our output. Well done Never Trumper Climate Savers.
  3. Like I said the party is over and the tug of war has begun. Will he have the stones to stay in the middle given all that unity and stuff or will he end up under the thumb of the squad... Joe is also pushing back on his key Stone Pipeline EO - Sen. Manchin Urges Biden to Permit Keystone XL Pipeline

  5. WHO will end research into 'extremely unlikely' theory that COVID-19 originated in Wuhan lab "The investigators have visited hospitals, research facilities and the seafood market where the first outbreak was identified, although their contacts in Wuhan are limited to visits organized by their Chinese hosts." I feel so much better...
  6. The honeymoon is over Joe, now you have to answer to your communist base. This week the far left is holding Joe's feet to the fire on such wonderful issues as: 1. $15 minimum wage which will crush already struggling small businesses and cost a CBO estimated 1.4 Million jobs. 2. Government payments to Illegals...WTF! 3. Bernie openly bashing what your cohorts in Congress have proposed for stimulus eligibility.
  7. Having served as the TF commander in Africa...I understand exactly what and who they are. There are other reasons they were not previously designated..even though many of us in the field asked for it. I have heard the cover story about getting aid and other help in but it doesn't not reality or the situation on the ground. Bottomline, these clowns are a proxy for Iran and as Trump elevated his fight against Iran we should have kept the pressure on. When it comes to Biden I have zero faith after he and his boss send an airplane load of American Pesos to the Iranian government. This was a big mistake.
  8. Supposedly it was the drivers pants that were dropped not a cell phone. Multiple folks who were at Eglin when it happened said Amn Snuffy was getting a BJ from Amn Suffett when he became overly excited and lost control of the vehicle.
  9. Do you know the story of this "incident?"

    Gun Talk

Anyone who wants to protect their gun rights might want to watch a very important case Caniglia v. Strom that the Supreme Court of the United States has decided to hear. It is a bit complicated but in short a married couple had a dispute and the police asked the male homeowner to come outside and talk, he did so voluntarily. During the conversation the police determined he needed a mental evaluation so they took him into custody and in for a mental evaluation. While he was being taken to the hospital a police supervisor ordered other officers to enter his home and seize his weapons, without a warrant. He was assessed by a doctor and it was deemed he was not a threat so he was immediately released. The police refused to return his weapons for several months. Big implications for both the 2nd and 4th amendments.
  11. Exactly, the Chiacoms have had my SF86 for years...
  12. Biden administration to remove terrorist designation for Yemen's Houthi militia Iran jumping for joy...I don't understand this decision especially when we have been supplying arms to Saudi (until Biden suspended sales to them.), to help them push back this group which has clear demonstrated ties to the Iranian and North Korean governments.
  13. Given the governments record with transparency, especially the past 12 years, I would 100% disagree with you.
  14. So give it to the government? We all know the government is famous for transparency...
  15. Biden Wants to Shut Down Credit Bureaus Ah yes under the banner of Equity (not equality), let the government have control and run one more aspect of your life.
  16. Ummm...copy, Sarcasm detector inop? That quote is often falsely attributed to Stalin and how he would fight America during the Cold War.

  20. Having worked on the hill and seen how the sausage is made, more often than not there is a lot of back room negotiating that takes place during a filibuster. i want that debate...I want it to be painful and slow to make large course corrections.
  21. Raise it to 60...if that were the intent I would consider but the Dems want to eliminate any discussion and go to a simple majority, dangerous regardless of who is in power. Then stop accepting that power has been ceded to the executive branch...fight it, in the court if necessary. Regardless of how the SCOTUS lean politically they have been fairly brutal to many EOs (Obama's immigration EO in particular), but both sides have been reluctant to truly press the EO issue through the courts to the SCOTUS, instead the fight in the context of each EO.
