I can't wait to see how the White House spins the latest inflation report. Last month Uncle Joe said there was "Zero Inflation in July" and "the economy is on track" Everyone knew the fundamentals showed a lag that manifest of course in August with inflation "higher than expected" at 8.3%. I predict they change the narrative to "gas prices are down .50"...FROM THEIR HIGH! The market was trying to build a new base with the interest rate hikes built in and there was even talk of lowering the next rate hike...unfortunately the "Inflation Reduction Act" and Student Loan forgiveness is DIRECTLY opposed to the Fed efforts to reduce money supply. It is almost as if they are doing this on purpose. Rocky times ahead for investors.

Sorry brother but I 1000% disagree. One of the most careerist people I have ever met. As an O-6 she made the Grp/CC list but no one bid her, not a single bid for a command in the entire Air Force...the community knew she was toxic so they purposely didn't bid her. At that point she had weaseled her way to be Dempsey's Speech writer. One of the three stars in the SOCOM chain showed me the email from Dempsey ordering USAF/SOCOM/AFSOC to bid her to a position. The circumstances of the toxic claims at ABQ may be around someone with an axe to grind, but the claim about falsifying flight records for pay was substantiated. Hard to fire someone who was just on the cover of AF Magazine with her wife just as Don't ask Don't tell ends.

In addition to buying votes through debt cancellation, Uncle Joe has continued to drain the SPR in order to lower gas prices and improve his approval rating. This is of course not the purpose of the SPR and unfortunately it was not full when he started. This use of the SPR exceeds the previous three use cases (Gulf War, Katrina, Libya conflict), COMBINED! The SPR was established in 1977 and it took seven years of filling to equal what we have drained in just six months, with another 64 Million barrels scheduled to be released we will soon be at 50% of capacity. I can't wait for the liberals on here explain to explain how this is a good thing.

The losses are staggering and the desperation in some of the intercepted phone calls and messages relates a generation of young Russian men being chewed up in a meat-grinder that has produced upwards of 80,000 casualties and a stalemate at best. In many cases numerous Russian units have become combat ineffective. Russian weapons inventory is low (over 50% of all attack missiles consumed, a similar story on artillery stocks), older equipment is being pressed into service and Putin has called for another round of conscription. Thread revival...wondering if anyone has experience as a civilian doing a flyover for a funeral. The father of a family friend passed away a few days ago and they are having his funeral next Monday at a military cemetery. He flew gunships for many years including in Vietnam. She reached out to me asking for info and I passed on the formal channel to request a flyover but with the holiday and short turn I doubt it will be supported. I have a plane and thought it would be better than nothing, has anyone ever legally done such a think. I plan to reach out to the FSDO Tuesday but wondering if anyone one else has experience or ideas.
