Nope, that distinction would go to MotoGP umbrella girls (or brollies, as the Brits call them)! Plus, F1 has banned them from the grid...

Gun Talk
I thought residents of on-base hosing (no, that's not a typo) are allowed to keep firearms in their residence as long as they're registered with Security Forces? Check whatever base you are going to for it's policy. If you have to leave a weapon in the armory (never a good idea but may be the only option), put your own trigger lock on it. In fact, since only the receiver is technically the "firearm," consider removing the upper (if an AR) or other internals (if any other type of rifle) or barrel if a pistol. Nothing says you cannot keep gun parts in your residence, just complete firearms!

Airlift stops
Yep, know one personally who got rolled up in Fat Leonard (pun intended, as he's most like gonna get fucked because of it!). As for this non-existent story, had anyone other than Trump owned the place, it would be a non-issue. It's just the media's constant barrage against the man. I am not the biggest fan of his, but he was the best option and is doing a better job than any of the other candidates, plus I doubt he plays much of a role in running his businesses these days much less this one particular hotel. Much like the old adage of "if the minimums weren't good enough, they wouldn't be the minimums;" doesn't "if it's under the max allowable, then it's allowable" make the same sense? As a per diem hound these days, the vast majority of the hotels I stay at have a government rate which is the max allowable before taxes. There's no fucking way I am staying at some flea-ridden roach motel because it saves the gubbermint some pocket change. After 38 years of seeing what it wastes its money on, it doesn't bother me one bit...

The new airline thread
Talk to your security folks before you go and check out the Foreign Clearance Guide for the country/countries in question, as you may have to put in an APACS request for taking leave in some of them... https://www.fcg.pentagon.mil/fcg.cfm

It's getting to be a daily occurrence...- Latest Movies
Not a movie, but an HBO series. Watched a couple of episodes of Chernobyl on my flight back from Germany. Wished I had started watching it earlier (Delta movies suck!). Gonna pay for it via Amazon, as it's well worth it!- Chuck Yeager, sues Airbus

- Children of US troops born overseas will no longer get automatic American citizenship
I was born overseas and my parents had to do a Report of Birth Abroad. I also had to meet with a judge at an immigration court in either D.C. or Virginia when I was 5 years old to get a Certificate of Citizenship (DOJ Form N-560). Granted, this was over 50 years ago; but both my parents were U.S. citizens (my mother is a naturalized citizen) and I was born in a US Army hospital outside Frankfurt (which ironically is now the U.S. Consulate General Office). One of our boys was born in Germany as well (Landstuhl) over 20 years ago, but for the life of me I can't remember having to do any citizenship paperwork for him when we returned.- R.I.P.
