We started in the displaced threshold (1000') on 22R(8200') at ewr and lifted off in the other displaced threshold (1800'). Totally true, but when you seeing touchdown markers then the EOR line while still in a 3 point attitude, you start thinking.
It's memorial day and there are guys and gals in uniform flying around the country receiving well deserved praise on their flights, as they should be. I'm currently on a plane with an older guy wearing ACU's with a full beard and instead of US Army is says "DA Civilian". The plane clapped for him, and I have a major problem with it. Should I? What's the word of civilians in military-like uniforms traveling? Looking for some other opinions. If this has already been posted, sorry I'm not scrolling all day with my iPhone. Cheers.
Anyone on here fly S80's on the civilian side? Currently on one, wondering about the TOLD after using >9500 feet of an 11k foot runway on takeoff...
