    Tanker guys time out around the 77 day mark so they either have to sit for a couple weeks for time to drop off or just send them home for a couple months and send in fresh meat. For non flying deployments I agree that 6 months at least gives you a chance to figure out what you're doing before you go home. But yeah, 6 months is not fun.

    This directly violates CSAF policy on 179-day deployments. If it happens my first call would be to my chain of command.

    PG county is no joke. These pix went out on twitter and I'm pretty sure they're not our guy. He spent very little time "isolated". Edit to add: local news is running with the pictures, so at least they think they're legit.

    Yeah I've been checking vMPF like a meth addict the past few weeks. Hoping they get the regular moves loaded soon! Edit to add: I've been checking under Self Service Actions....is that where you saw your assignment?

    Does anyone have an idea of where AFPC is on summer VML assignment matching? I've heard that the matches are complete but waiting to be loaded into a computer system. Anyone have a spy on the inside?

    Looks like a win/win all around.

    You pay back any "unearned" portion. So, if you get your bonus in August and separate in September you have to pay back 11/12ths of your bonus check. Ideally you would separate just before your bonus pays to avoid the hassle.

    I'm just impressed the HARM sent you an email at all. I would have expected the first sign of a loss of flight pay to occur at the end of the month when you checked your LES.
