They ripped the lid off, now they have to fully finish it. They need an end state like Japan in WW2 - complete demilitarization, confiscation of all war material, etc. Iran cannot have any capability to project power outside its borders. Hopefully this is also a catalyst for the Iranian people to rid themselves of the horrendous regime they’ve been under for the last ~45 years.1 point
