I'd be interested to hear from anyone here who knows more about the situation with this guy. My initial read is that something is a little fishy here. How does a supposedly shit hot raptor pilot/Harvard grad land himself as a line IP at the Randolph IFF squadron doing some innovation ball wash for AETC.. Is it because the organization with POC as the secdef, csaf, and cmsaf is viciously racist? Or is it because he pissed the wrong person off or was a douche in his community and was put out to pasture like so many other iron majors before him? Sorry dude, I know it hurts. But it's happened to white dudes too. In fact.. almost exclusively white dudes.

It’s almost amusing watching the cyclical nature of the Air Force. Blues Monday’s in the mid 0’s became a game of flying or having “appointment” to miss work. This is just another opportunity to put drama in front of the public (in the flavor of the day). It received attention, and the Daily Mail profited from the story - mission accomplished. Could they have found five Caucasian guys with the same (or close story), and get them to whine? Quite probably. But it's not the flavor of the day, and the media can't profit from it, so we don't hear about it.

Can anyone confirm that the AFRC bonus for TRs does not incur any sort of commitment? Our MPF is telling us no, and it's probably correct, but a lot of us are hesitant to sign because we're fresh off AD and know Big Blue will try to go in dry with no lube when you let your guard down.

So let's review this past week for this Administration: 13,000 kids in "not cages." Russia recalls its ambassador; Putin challenges Biden to a debate which is declined. China embarrasses the SecState in the first meeting with this Administration. And Biden busts his ass not once, not twice, but three times climbing AF1 stairs. On the same climb. Good think it wasn't a ramp like Trump's or there'd be calls for a health evaluation... But he has kept off Twitter so there's that win.

That person deserves to wear blues everyday until they leave the AF.
