  1. I saw Hueypilot's post about this in the MC-12 thread, but in the interest of separating the two incidents I'm starting a new thread. Crash: National Air Cargo B744 at Bagram on April 29, 2013, aircraft lost height shortly after takeoff... Godspeed brothers.

  3. The 189 guys are still going to be teaching IPUG in addition to the PIQ and other initial qual missions that they're picking up. The first few PIQ guys are trickling through now as they teach PIN. They're still making the attempt to keep IPUG out of the SIM (it's only 4 or 7 rides based on what you fly plus a checkride, so the 3.0's they're flying aren't exactly breaking the bank) in order to keep the quality of training high (sure, in the SIM they can kill you, but there's a lot more value added to the air over the wings when they demo student trends to you).

  5. What the fvck is right...as if I needed another reason to never live in a liberal, piece of shit excuse for a State (California). Sadly, these lawmakers are to the point where they're cool with a live baby being aborted and then thrown away (ie they allow extreme and partial birth abortions), but yet they have no problem going against a woman when she's taking care of her child. If the parents had left the first hospital because the hospital staff said they disagreed with gay marriage then it would have been ok <sarcasm for the few lefties on here>. I know it's been posted before, but here's the ideology from where this all stems from...ie the state and the government knows better than you do.

  6. I don't agree with a lot of what Weinstein does or says, but there are definitely a lot of inappropriate religious aspects in the military. If you want a chaplain/rabbi/hobo to bless your retirement, have at it; however, I don't need to hear about it at an official function.

  10. What a f**king shame. Poor kid lost his entire family because some asshat figured it was cool to drive after having a few... One thing the Air Force has taught me, and I'll give credit where credit is due, drinking and driving isn't worth it. Prayers are with him, and those down in Del Rio.

  11. If this is true it's about time! Flying a C-5/C-17 to some off station so the crew can do nothing but run around in the chem masks all so the Wing CC can check off a box on his/her career requirement is crazy! During these ORIs I've never seen anyone actually practice on how to decontaminate a heavy airlifter inside or out to a level that the Europeans would allow you to fly it over their airspace! (after all they are terrified of Genetically Modified corn)
