For those of you with privacy concerns. Google Adsense, Google Analytics and Viglink ad bots are tracking this website. There is also a google supercookie tracking you as well. I use ghostery , AdBlock and Disconnect on my safari. I think FireFox has the same extensions. Love this forum, just wanted you to know. Just found DoubleClick and Google +1 as well. For you superfreaks, DoubleClick tracks you on F-Book. If any of you have 4 star general concerns......

Sorry for the SQL ERROR and the forums being down the last day or so. I finally got my customer support folks to fix this and am trying to learn what they did so I can resurrect it myself next time. v/r BASEOPS

Whenever I try to quote someone, the page quotes that person and also pulls a random quote from the user pcola from somewhere else in the forums and adds it to the quote.

How do you select your gender in your profile? Not that I really care, but it irks me everytime I look at my baseops.net profile and it says "Gender not set". :huh: I'll just add a big ol' "STS" here to cover everything before the jokes start to roll in... I felt like chaning my personal picture today, so I logged in, went to my profile, and clicked on the 'Settings' tab. I first deleted my old picture, then tried to upload a new pic. Tired it twice but got a "upload failed, contact administrator" message x 2. Mods....thoughts? Cap-10

The only reason I bring this up is because it has helped me a lot in the past, and even now on occasion. Especially when I first started my AF quest by reading on here and trying to learn how to secure a slot. Now that I'm well on my way I've noticed that sometimes there still is an occasional acronym or term that I find myself reading and scratching my head trying to learn the meaning through context. Question: is it possible to update the glossary from time to time or is it easier for readers just to ask definitions in the forums and get destroyed by everyone for not searching. I'm trying to get in touch with someone at Baseops to place some advertisements, but no one has responded to multiple messages through their feedback form or Facebook messaging. The buyads.com link on the "advertise" page links to a dead location. Anyone have an idea of who to talk to about advertising since Rich has passed (RIP)? BO.net, I noticed the eLearners distance learning ad is really slowing down load times when I try to access the forums homepage. Wondering if anyone else had this issue? Firefox tells me "looking up nexus.elearners.local" ~nsplayr

The site certificate is expired. I keep getting warnings from Chrome about the site being unsafe.

With the new board I have not had a problem going to the last page when I click on a thread. At first, when the new board appeared, if I was on page 72 then clicked on 71 it would take a few extra seconds to load. Today, and last couple times I have been on, it is just endlessly loading. No matter what thread I have clicked, the last page will load almost instantly. However, on any thread, if I click on the page before with the last page already loaded, the top banner and stuff will load but the threads never load... just a loading symbol. I have to check my mobile still, but this is happening on Win 8 in IE11 and chrome fully updated. Anyone else have this issue or…

Routinely having my browser (Firefox 45.0.1) lock up with a particular "waiting for..." message when accessing BODN (and nowhere else). I assume it's an ad, and my caveman-level of ability to read what shows up when I navigate directly leads me to believe it's eBay.... Anyway, the specific site is: dco-cdn.w55c.net

with the board upgrade, I can't tell where a quote to a previous post ends and the actual reply starts. Is there a setting somewhere that can be tweaked with? In the previous version, quotes were in a white block to differentiate from the response.

Like the topic name says, I read the emails but they still show up as bold/unread and I get the red "2" next to the drop down messages header. iPad mini2 iOS 9.2 App version: couldn't find version info in app, but I'm not showing an iTunes update, so I assume I have the most current one. Cap-10

Hopefully as of late you've noticed some site improvements and recent changes across the sites. We are far from done! We want to continue to build and improve upon the Baseops network. That being said, if you notice any dead links and/or information or content that is out of date, please let us know. It would be helpful if you could be as detailed as possible and we will see that it gets updated in short order. We have already had an influx of feedback and suggestions - please keep them coming!
