Apparently James Earl Jones was a prolific gun collector, and owned some rare firearms such as this!

2025 ACTIVE DUTY UFT BOARD
I figure some folks in here might still get notifications for this board like I do for the FY26 one… if so, can anyone that’s been through IPT speak to the different locations and potential differences in training syllabi? Us FY26 selects are curious as we wait impatiently for assignments. Thanks!

2026 ACTIVE DUTY UFT BOARD
The original date on the email for assignments was NLT 28 Feb so im guessing in the next week or so as we get closer to the end of the month. I think they might be also waiting on some folks getting their medical waivers from MFS. Some insight for IPT from a buddy who just finished at Peach Tree: Those with ratings will be on an accelerated timeline and not all IPT locations are standardized in training. Some will do PPL, SEL and MEL instrument, and MEL whereas others will just do PPL, SEL instrument, and MEL for example. They also worked 6 days/week! Hope this helps!

It's funny but suing anyone in the federal government as an individual is usually futile. It seems the only time a federal employee is considered at fault as an individual is if it's a violation of the Anti-Deficiency Act. I'm sure most on here remember a briefing on that at some point in their careers.

Supposedly ATF main already corrected the issue but it shows the bias still int he system.

GA Aircraft Flown
Japanese, I believe. I'm sure very few care, but the Vietnamese jets never had the air refueling probes on their jets, as far as I know. FYI: that's the South Vietnamese roundel on the fuselage of both of our jets We are hoping to have a cool A-37 surprise for the warbird world later in 2026. We shall see.

Would be interesting if the dude filed a lawsuit against the ATF and the individual that denied it. Might give other bureaucrats pause when they're about to deny someone their rights if they know that they might lose their house. Imagine any other right being treated like the 2nd... "no, sir, I don't consent to you searching my house because it is my right to not consent." "Sorry, but simply exercising your right doesn't justify exercising your right, so we're going to search your house."
