RUMINT machine said to not expect AMC since they’re more reluctant to send their 38-trained dudes back to AETC.

Yet another reason to return to old school UPT.

Whiteman = SZL...... maybe a typo on the initial post?

To clarify, there no longer is an ANG unit in STL. The 131 FW which used to operate F-15s out of STL became the 131 BW and moved to Whiteman as an associate unit. They now operate the B-2 as a conventional bombing wing.

Thank you, i was in the 131st

Actual B-2 or T-38 with possible B-2 follow on?

They are actual B-2's but they fly the T-38 for about 1.5 to 2 years before they start B-2 training.

I still remember them as F-4Es

I'm gonna take a swing at this and guess that we're loading the dugout so that the shiny pennies can go to the new hotness in the next 3-5 years.

Also to replace all of the dudes jumping to the airlines.

We probably need a KC-46 first.

There has been a rumor that they'll be on the next drop since I was in UPT back in 2013, so your guess is as good as anyones.

Anyone hear the UPT Next drops from last friday? Rumor is 4 F-16s and 2 F-35s for the ACC guys

What gives on the E-3 in 38s? There's got to be a story behind that one.

CAF heavy planes drop to T-38s. Some people are unlucky, some didn't do well enough.

Heavy in CAF has been around a while, but an E-3 is a bit of a kick in the nuts. Unlucky is an understatement. I'm thinking multiple DUIs and caught with a tranny prostitute.

FY18 is a new animal. We have 3/7 going to ACC heavies. They told us 1-2 fighter and no AMC

Well it's not quite, everybody gets a MQ-9 bad but it's definitely not FY17 good where everyone and their mother was getting a fighter.

AMC got tired of sending T-38 trained dudes back to UPT. With bottlenecks at fighter FTUs, in steps AFSOC and ISR to replace the void.

Don't we have to fix the current crisis before the pendulum swings back again?
