June 15Jun 15 Fuck...looks like right on the runway too? Overhead footage shows there's nothing left. Low airspeed and low altitude are not good at all for the upstairs guys getting out. I don't even want to imagine about the N/RN.

We lost contact over the years but I happened to see him at a fellow crewdog's wedding and it was great to catch up with him for a few hours that night. While I kept wanting to know about all the cool test stuff he got to do, he would mostly talk about what his family was doing and how proud he was of his kids. Tragic loss for his family, the Air Force, and the world in general.
June 17Jun 17 Tragic. Video of the flight shows an increased pitch up immediately after takeoff followed by 2 engine flameout, full stall, and left wing striking the ground. Unknown if the pitch-up was part of the test profile, and won't be speculating before anything further is released through official channels.🍺🍺 Edited June 17Jun 17 by fox two

1 hour ago1 hr This is beyond tragic. I can't claim to have known any of the crew but I'm confident I've crossed paths with atleast a few during my occasional trips to KEDW. I don't want this thread to dissipate so fast, like how the rest of the websphere has a ten second attention span. We need to keep these bros in our thoughts & prayers as long as possible.
53 minutes ago53 min I pilot I have mentored since he was 14 is a TPS grad and stationed there as an IP. As late as Thursday the wreckage was still on the runway. He mentioned they got back to flying and he decided to go to Palmdale rather than do patterns and see the wreckage on every pattern. It's been tough on the entire test and bomber community, I think there legacy will live on because they touched so many lives.
