Can't answer the question?

I’ll be as clear as I can. I would absolutely be held to a different standard than leadership.

Dick Cheney had evidence manufactured to justify starting Iraq War two, killing hundreds of thousands of people; no consequence.

James Clapper lied to the Senate about NSA spying on American citizens; no consequence

Drone strike after Abbey gate deaths during Afghan withdrawal, family of 10 murdered; no consequence

For those in charge it is, and always will be, rules for thee, not me

The message to America’s allies couldn’t be clearer: Trump doesn’t care about friendship, democracy, or sovereignty. All he cares about is cards. Do you have something of monetary value to offer him or his family? Do you have an economic bloc that’s big enough to fight back against the United States? Do you have nuclear weapons?

If not, start working on it.

WIRED et al reporting Waltz had his Venmo public until they reported on it.  Guess who is in it?  Goldberg, Fox Newers, CNNers, and other media types.  Maybe he's the leaker on Elon's war plans briefing, which they probably did over Signal after it was cancelled.

I wonder if he uses the same venmo that the rest of us use, where the first thing it asks you when you set up your account is to have access to your contacts to sync them.

Sure would be some lazy journalism if they didn't check to make sure that's why his phone contacts all appeared in his venmo like the rest of us.

Sure would be lazy of the commentariat to run with it without thinking...

I don't think Trump thinks it matters how Venmo has all those media contacts, either the app or his contacts.  He pro probably thinks the fact Goldberg is a contact regardless of reason is bad because it means Waltz is in contact with the enemy.

Or maybe there was some sort of arrangement between them.

Hmmm, a nation acting in its own best interests.

Other, smaller nations deciding where to hitch their wagons in their own best interests.

Whatever is the world becoming?

The world is becoming a place where our government is unintentionally following Soviet tactics to divide the West.

You should listen to the entire interview if you haven’t. Kudos to Vance this is the first time someone vocalizes what we actually want, and i agree with a lot of it.

The only thing that strikes me as odd is: On one hand, Greenland is suddenly a "priority for national security," while on the other hand "We won’t do anything about it, but we’ll invest in icebreakers."
