I know people on this board have uncovered posers before, but generally the offenders at least have the sense to pretend to be pilots or something. I think we all understand the motivation there at some level in that it's a noble and desirable profession. In your WTF? moment of the day, though, may I present a kid who (allegedly) is pretending to hold the dubious rank of smack/four dig/freshman at the zoo, one of the lowest and most shat-upon ranks in the military. While I'm sure he has a perfectly valid explanation for the whole thing, a quick glance at his profile and photos reveals a few inconsistencies:

1. His nametag isn't formatted correctly. Even better than that, he's wearing AF pilot wings. Not cadet wings, not glider wings, real wings.

2. He's also wearing some sort of prop-and-wings type device on his flight cap, but it's not the correct pin and the frosh wouldn't have earned them by December anyway.

3. No one has ever heard of him. He's not listed in the global.

4. He authored several posts during the time he would have been in basic.

5. Most of the stuff he's written doesn't add up. There's a post about his philosophy course from last month, for example. The only philosophy course at the Academy is at the 300 level, so it's taken by juniors.

6. He's listed as being a triple major in aero, astro, and criminal justice. Triple majoring really isn't possible, and criminal justice isn't even a major.

7. Wicked double chin.

8. F a g flap.

My favorite part of this is that the real cadets have gotten wind and smell blood. They even managed to get ahold of his girlfriend's phone number. Unfortunately for Mr. Addante, the law concerning impersonating an officer includes cadets as well, so he very well may be hosed. Hope it was worth it.

Seen this? It's old but funny as hell. Big ex-lineman knocks out a girl outside a club, and Roger Huerta (MMA) avenges her. Gonna have to use your imagination to fill in some of the spots where you cant see the action, but it's pretty gratifying to see this guy get his face literally stomped in by someone 1/3rd his size at the end of the video.
