Guest C-21 Pilot
C-17 Airdrop Locations... McChord (KTCM) Charleston (KCHS) Hickam (PHIK) Elmendorf (PAED) Altus (KLTS)....although this is the school house, they do participate in major exercises and have also "can" participate in wartime efforts if conditions exist. McGuire, Dover, Jackson, Travis are all airland. March is AFRC.

Guest Hueypilot812
Keesler will have a reverse-associate (active duty flying AFRC airplanes) C-130J squadron starting late spring, so might be something to add for the newbs to consider. Guest sog
Updates: B-2: The 131st Bomb Wing is now flying the B-2 out of Whiteman AFB, MO. (ANG) http://www.131bw.ang.af.mil/ F-22: The 191FS is flying the F-22 out of Hickam AFB, HI (though it is not yet at full strength). (ANG) http://www.154wg.ang.af.mil/ 192FW is flying the F-22 out of Langley AFB, VA. (ANG) http://www.192fw.ang.af.mil/ And the 302FS is flying the F-22 out of Elmendorf AFB, AK (AFRC). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/302d_Fighter_Squadron F-16: Also being flown by the AFRC 301FW out of Dallas Fort-Worth. http://www.301fw.afrc.af.mil/ I'm sure there are other changes as well, but these are a few that I happened stumble across. On a related note, does anyone know how to get in touch with the person who runs wantscheck? I've used the "contact us" form, but gotten no reply, and the forum doesn't seem to work for me either - whenever I go to make a post, there is no text box to type into. I wouldn't much care, but I have a similar problem whenever I try to edit any unit's info - there is no "Save" button.... anyone know what the deal is? There are a bunch of units with outdated info that I'd like to update, but I can't.

Cody Land
So, I will go ahead and ask the dumb question, but I just want to have clarification: Hypothetically, if I drop RC-135 and the only base that houses them is Offutt, my wife will be expected to always live at Offutt AFB?
xaarman
You can homestead there for 8+ years if desired, you'll leave for a staff assignment eventually (could be at USSTRATCOM.) Once you make IP, the other bases (Kadena, Mildenhall, some other places) become options if you want to PCS there. But you will always go back to Offutt.Mods can probably move this to the RC-135 thread.
