I took the MILCOMP test to receive the CFII but what I think is funny is that I don't have the CFI. So, I can instruct people while airborne and in the weather but I don't have the privileges to instruct them to takeoff or land... Must be the FAA's way of still getting more money out of you and keeping some control over the licenses.

The only reason we didn't go to Tuscaloosa is b/c our boat was too big for the that lake. We have a 29' Mach 1 and I think Lake Tuscaloosa's max boat size is 24'.
