Degradation of SUPT
UPT 2.5 is after UPT Next in the iteration of bad ideas from AETC timeline, I think.

Since you’re so laissez faire, what do you consider first amendment overreach?
-
The Next President is...
You’re really not making the connection.

The Next President is...
So your voice in the town square getting silenced at government order isn’t restriction of speech, got it.

The Next President is...
You know how much we roast other countries for doing the same thing, right?

The Next President is...
“Hey private company, censor this speech for us.” Sounds like the government is indeed 1000% restricting free speech.

The Next President is...
It is, although the labor organizations themselves in many cases precipitated their own downfalls because they lost sight of their objectives. And things like the NRLB are a political mess.

The Next President is...
If only people with poor working conditions at steel mills a hundred years ago had figured out how to collectively bargain in our terribly unjust society where workers have no rights.

Finally done in Afghanistan?
Allow myself to quote…myself, but now waiting for the plot of Tom Clancy’s Locked on to play out as the Taliban expands its ops. The Jack Ryan Jr series predicted Crimea, why not Pakistan (and then probs Taiwan)? https:// https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locked_On_(novel)

They have to move past him to make 2024 viable.

Finally done in Afghanistan?
Pakistan is worried. Guess they shouldn’t have been working with them for 20 years

The WOKE Thread (Merged from WTF?)
Both sides think that anything the other side claims is a “dog whistle,” so much so that it’s a boy-who-cried-wolf phrase anymore, and it’s essentially surely a sign that there is no substance to the claim.

GA Aircraft Flown
Thoughts are that the FAA must really dislike general aviation because all of the strides lately in making it more accessible have been on the experimental side…and this kills that.

Finally done in Afghanistan?
Multiplying by Zero was published in 2011, and it’s still the best summary of the futility of AFG ops. https:// https://www.armyupress.army.mil/Portals/7/military-review/Archives/English/MilitaryReview_20110228_art014.pdf

Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
I’d argue it’s both AF leadership and Congress. Which AF leader has taken the business case to Congress and actually said, “we have a problem”?

Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
That Senator did some great things, but he thought that the compensation he had in the 70s was sufficient and blocked a lot of progress on that front.

Retirement / Separation Considerations
If your ADSC is up, unless there is an official stop-loss, they really can’t say no.
-
Retirement / Separation Considerations
Have you tried calling the Total Force Service Center desk? They have actually been pretty helpful on hang ups. https://www.afpc.af.mil/Support/

Retirement / Separation Considerations
For ADSC expired and applying for a DOS less than 6 months, the waiver is inherent to the separation application process (no explicit waiver), and expect it to take about 6 weeks from pressing submit to approved. Ops tested, but MilPDS is slower to update after the CMS case from the separation application approval closes out.

Quoted for truth, one of the best summaries out there.
