PM whenever bro. Always happy to help. The inter service program is NOT for prior rated military pilots. I had to send my app as an off the street guy. I submitted the two packets back in 2018 through the board rep at Randolph. 3 weeks after the dead line I was offered a guard slot (Thank god!) ... so decided to withdraw my AD apps. I when I was rushing, I was attacking all positions available to me. Guard, reserves, with AD being my plan C. I always recommend all the bros to do the same. I was a civil engineer prior to UPT. I couldn’t stand being in a cubical... even though I was probably out on the field 30% of the time, it still sucked wondering if it would be the same thing over and over again for the next 40 years. Even as part time guard helo pilot... the future did not look very appealing to me. You’ll miss the simplicity of things... or more less how black and white things are. It will never be like that in the AF or military... period. Once your in, there will always be the next test, next checkride, the next upgrade, promotion, deployments... you name it. Like the bros above said, enjoy your time now to chill, be with the fam friends hobby or w e. UPT is a long year full of long days, Sunday Scaries, and being evaluated on everything you do. There’s never enough time... and you’ll never know it all. Again, the simplicity of things is about the only thing I sometimes miss about my old engineer job. Stay motivated and keep chasing the demon! Let the rejections and the TBNT e-mails fuel your passion of achieving your goals of getting hired and finding a military home. You won’t be able to get an account unless you are own by the AF. You should be able to submit your stuff via email to the board managers at Randolph. When I was going thru, I was going to have them route my age waiver and all other apps thru a rep at their office. Are you a rated helo guy? Are you a prior rated guy waiting on UPT dates? If your just a regular guy OTS bound or just done with OTS with no UPT dates, your FC1 approval packet goes to the end of the pack. No longer with us. One of the Sim instructors at vance told me it was rapidly eating up aircraft time and quickly pushing aircraft overhaul timeframes way forward than expected. It ended back in 2013 I think. Now most of the fleet is nearing overhaul, and from what He understands, there’s a plan being floated around about making the UPT 2.5 Toner phase (about 3 months) SIM only with no actual T1 time. AMF topoff STUDs in Banzai are about done with T6 phase and the extra AMF stuff. Apparently the Toner banzai bros will have a shorter Toner phase similar to what is expected at 2.5. Not sure about the 38s.

We submitted mine at around the same time I came back from WP. You can submit as early as you want from what I understand but the hold up in the back side will be that it will not be approved until the SG at NGB has reviewed and stamped your FC1. I don’t think you’ll gain time from submitting early but if your recruiter is telling you to do so, follow his lead. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app

Dude... I hooked and faired 8 “TO THE BALLERs” rides in T6s. Never put on flying Cap but was close to it. Always managed to get Es on all my check rides. Things would always click by my 2check. Not everyone learns at the same pace. Some bros learn quickly and crush it from the beginning. Others, like my self... took a little longer. Stay motivated and keep moving forward.
