Does anyone know if you can apply to the unsponsored board without a MEPS physical? My physical was canceled for today and I won’t be able to go for another 2 weeks. Recruiter said we can still submit packet and let them know that my physical was canceled.
Nothing yet. They are or will be getting back from their TDY and will be notifying people by mid May.

Not a military member, but simple answer here: take a shot. I was (still am) married with kids when I discovered military flying and had the same concerns that you have. After much thought and discussions with my wife, I decided to chase the dream and couldn’t be any happier with my decision. For the past year, I’ve had a few interviews with fighter units (not sure what airframe your applying for) and you would be amazed On the diversity of applicants there are. The whole person concept is very much considered and it sounds to me your in a position that would allow you to succeed. Take your opportunity and run with it!
