Wing commanders will identify field grade officers with high potential for command to attend this course, which will teach them “foundational tools and skills required to thrive in command.” So choose your CCs as ROTC cadets, then groom them via Sq Exec as Lt > SOS DG > Wing Exec > SCFC > ACSC res > CC. No. The AF flying class 1 is harder than the FAA class 1. I think navs need a class 2. If you're applying to Guard/Reserve, you're going to need a FAA Class 3 to get your PPL, and a Class 1 might be helpful for the hiring board, but that'll vary by unit.

I only had actual contract lodging once in my 15 years. They put "contract lodging" on a form several times, which makes things fun if your AO isn't smart enough to know the difference, but if it goes on your GTC, it ain't contract lodging.
