I was not a FAIP, but maybe you were/are. We can pick this back up after the first firing and you can compare it to the firing of Patton, especially if there is a slap involved. Beers!

So you're equating working for Trump as going into battle in a world war? Any other defending comments? The implication is that Trump fired more Cabinet than his predecessors in modern times. I'm sure someone can math it cause I'm lazy, but it was a lot. So I'm going to set some odds.

That part reminds me of this scene from the show, Rescue Me. Not an exact correlation, but I think the point can be made that you want the best qualified in a job like FD Chief, and firefighters in general. Along the last lines of the video, I agree, I don't care what the firefighter looks like, color, ethnicity, etc., but they better be capable of carrying/dragging my fat ass to safety. Great show btw.

So the AF/DoD is going to exploit the shit out of her. Real nice, so I guess it's OK.

Late to the party. WSJ did this reporting back in June. https://www.wsj.com/politics/policy/joe-biden-age-public-election-campaign-343a47bf

What's the over/under on Trump firing his first Cabinet position? I'm going to set it at 6 months from their confirmation. What's the over/under on a Trump nominee departing office on their own? I'll set it at 6.9 months. Turnover happens, but it seemed like it happened a whole lot more with Donno T.

What's wrong with the Air Force?
disgruntledemployee replied to Catbox's topic in General Discussion
The Russians are behind this, because, well, that's what they do. So any CC or Gen that enacts this is working for the enemy. -
Same thing happened to me, and reading this I think they are staying just shy of federal action/lawsuit territory. I paid the loan off in 2 months just to spite them.

There's sloppy seconds, and then there's this. Last dude must thought, "this is what it's like to screw a bucket of jizz." The big question is, after all that action, does @Biff_T call dibs? BTW, that's 40.8 seconds per dude. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/onlyfans-bonnie-blue-claims-she-121944402.html 1,057 Men in 12 Hours

"I don't know what to do with my hands!"

LA Fires may need its own thread. Between causation and tragedy to D state priorities, funding, and politics, there are also a shit ton of rich LA assholes that should put their money where their liberal mouths are. I'm sure Hollywood could generate a sizable GFMe for the littler guys. Start with the water hoarding Kardashians. Sorry mods for the suggested work, this one is gonna get sporty.

Is that for twins?

Maybe that was the best they could court. Might be better off promoting Gronk.

Another USAA story. Fender bender (well more like the hood and grill). USAA said to take pics and upload vs taking it to a shop for the estimate. I said sure, but just give me the estimate. We'll as it's a 2006 and costs exceeded their tolerance for my state, they "Totaled" it without my knowledge/input. I am told em to delete the claim, I'll do it myself. They say nope, once they total it, it can't be undone. MFers! So I tell em I'll take their money and deduct salvage value, I'm keeping my baby. To release funds, they want the title, but I inform them that my state doesn't require that for cars 10+ years old. They actually agree. I take the cash, get it repaired for.... the value of the claim minus my deductible. And I didn't have to do a salvage title goat rope. The nice thing at the end, a Carfax VIN run doesn't show the accident because I think I paid for it and it wasn't a designated repair shop for USAA (avoid those). The shop was at one time, but the shop got tired of dealing with em. Car drives straight, got a new bumper cover and hood, and it looks shiny. As for Lexis Nexis, you can dispute info. It's a chore but worth the effort.

I think we should shift to a 2 year budget cycle. Reps take office in Jan, odd number years, they have til Sep even year to create and pass a budget, then a month to campaign on said budget til reelection time. As for term limits, the other side of that is sometimes decent performers have to depart. AR had a decent R Gov, now it has Huckabee-Sanders.

Windshield. I opted to cover it myself vs risk a rate increase. It was a 2 inch crack but went to the edge. I called our local Acura dealer and asked where they get their glass done. Local place says Acura glass and an aftermarket that's cheaper are made in the same facility. I went aftermarket. Half the expense is resetting all the sensors behind the glass. Glass doing well. Now we gotta do a small crack and I'll do the same; pay $79.95 at a glass shop vs file a claim, which I know USAA will usually cover for free, but I don't want claims on my file. Isn't that sad? BTW, USAA uses Nexis Lexis. I tried to get an $0 claim deleted from LN that USAA gave them info on, and I swear it was like trying to get a convicted murderer off death row (kiddo bumped a bumper, no damage, but called USAA as a precaution... apparently you shouldn't do that). PS. All insurance companies suck. PPS. USAA was exposed to a whole lot of FL loss. Our rate increases could probably be related to that.

On topic, a family member got pulled over in GA and was confronted by an angry cop. Situation was described as very unprofessional. Fam said he was accused of cutting the cop off and nearly causing an accident, but said it wasn't him. Fam filed a complaint, requested cam footage, and fought the ticket, which was eventually dropped. I can see a cop getting pissed for what happened to them and then pull over the wrong person because there's plenty of white pickups out there. Not an excuse for the behavior, but the job can wear a good person down. I have a cuz that lived thru BLM riots, and have other F&F in policing. I hope they don't let the bad affect em too much. Good policy is paramount. I see the problem is somewhat like the AF. The good ones get tired of the system and leave for better places. The bad ones thrive and rise in rank. These YT channels are good sunlight.

Based on log traffic info, an internet sleuth might find the login used. Or maybe shit post on his forum.

The moment GS positions are cut at a mil base, the state and federal level politicians lose their shit, both sides. They get on news and call the move outrageous, etc. Case in point, look up when DoD deleted JFCOM. However, about half of those cats were contractors. Early in my career, I spent some time around an office that lost it's work. Most of the workers were GSers. So they came in everyday and literally did nothing. Some tried to find busy work, rest played on the internet, and a SrA flirted with a married woman so much her husband left her. Point being, some of those GS are hired to do dumb things. I think we should try getting rid of the dumb things and not put it back on mil dudes. Just hit delete.
