  1. Looks like things are getting interesting on the Texas southern border between Texas and the Feds…
  2. Appreciate your opinions as always! My take with any major concern/prediction is being able to measure if it was accurate. For example, the climate alarmists have been wrong many times over the last several decades and at least now they’ve become more slick and are making their predictions so far in the future that we’ll all be nearly dead by the time we can see if the predictions were accurate or not. Credibility amongst the “experts” (climate, geopolitics, finance, etc) can only be judged by the accuracy of their predictions, and they need to measured in the shorter vs the longer term. As for China specifically, I’m far from an expert, but I wouldn’t be very surprised if China invades Taiwan in the next several years (can it really be called an invasion if even our own government says Taiwan in part of China and not independent?), but I would very surprised if the CCP fell apart in the same time frame.
  3. So your response to my question if you believe all, some, or none of his incitements to be legitimate and non-political is “some?”, but at the same time you don’t believe his indictments to be political? Ans then recently you said you’re uncertain…talk about mental gymnastics!
  4. Appreciate the response. I truly don’t care whether you like Trump or not. I personally think he’s a complete jerk, but I do think his policies are overall a vast improvement over the current administration. What is strange though is that you admit you believe at least some of his indictments to be political/not legitimate, and yet you use that as a reason to further dislike him/not want his as a president? Why not just stick with your own personal reasons vs reasons you admit aren’t legitimate? As for him being a jerk, not someone I would want to be friends with…that has literally zero effect on my life. I’m not trying to be friends with the guy. But his tax policies, not wanting to forgive student loans, his picks for judges, etc do affect me in a positive way compared to Biden. I was hoping for DeSantis but it became obvious last year that wasn’t going to happen. As for Haley, I’d rather have Trump than a Bush/Romney style Republican. Will Trump win in Nov? I stand by my recent 50/50 chance I’ve recently states. And if Biden wins (I’m actually starting to think it might be M Obama as the Dem nominee), then oh well. Me and my family will personally still do very well, but I’m sure the middle class will continue to take a large hit. And as for the lower class, the more illegals we allow in, the lower wages will stay.
  5. Whatever you say man.
  6. Well, if you have opinions on which prosecutions are political, then I suppose I can do the same. And no, I am not a criminal defense attorney, and I have a funny suspicion that I’m in good company, though I could always be wrong.
  7. Considering the old saying of “you can indict a ham sandwich” refers to that it’s pretty easy for prosecutors to get an indictment from a grand jury in the vast majority of cases. And yes, I think they’re very political. So now to you since you responded: Regarding the Trump indictments do you believe all, some, or none are legitimate and not political?
  8. Do you believe all, some, are none of these “court appearances” are legitimate and not political?
  9. So Biden literally says the border isn’t secure and hasn’t been for the last 10 years…which encompasses 3 years when he was VP and now 3 years as President. And yet he and his fellow progressives only want to make it easier for illegals to come in, oh, and he wants to give them all permanent residency and eventually citizenship. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2024/01/19/president-biden-says-the-southern-border-is-not-secure/72288828007/
  10. Not calling you out since I’ve had plenty of predictions turn up incorrect, but curious what your take is currently? (and yes, I know this wasn’t your prediction per se, but from your post I’m assuming you thought there was some potential validity to it).
  11. You’re telling me that the vast majority of people at the pro-Palestinian rallies, you know the ones at college campuses in other major cities, are actually right wing Trump fans? I’m talking about the rallies/protests since October…none of your links have anything to do with what I’m referring to.
  12. Well, if I’m a betting man, the vast majority of those under 44 who deny the holocaust happened/was exaggerated are probably the same type of people at pro-Palestinian rallies. Unless you believe these are right wing Trump lovers?
  13. Don’t forget…the left hates “disinformaion/misinformation”…
  14. I don’t think she ever did have a shot in SC, or much of one in the entire primary period. And I wouldn’t really call it anything “strange”—Trump is basically running as an incumbent when it comes to party politics, and the majority of the GOP agree that it’s his nomination. Now can he win in November?—I’m still going with my 50/50 that I mentioned a few weeks ago. The real question before November is will Biden or Obama be the Dem nominee?
  15. DeSantis is now out. After Haley loses in NH and SC, I imagine she’ll drop out as well.
  16. Yes
  17. Pretty sure we can have that without being the world’s policeman and massive defense spending every year. And I would argue that we have less liberty and freedom in this country this bigger our government gets (and yes, thar includes defense spending).
  18. So weren’t we hearing from the WH and the media 1-2 months ago that if Ukraine didn’t get mass additional funding right away that they wouldn’t be able to defend themselves from Russia?
  19. So Hawaiian and Alaskan won’t get to merge? Honest question as I’m pretty ignorant on the subject.
  20. Don’t be a hot 2Lt and try to be Miss America? Copy—I’ve lived by this code my entire life and will continue to do so.
  21. Pretty impressive that’s she already a fighter pilot when she hasn’t even attended pilot training yet… https://www.foxnews.com/media/miss-colorado-becomes-first-u-s-fighter-pilot-compete-miss-america
  22. In actual airline hiring news, SWA is not opening up their application window this month. They also sent out emails to anyone with a scheduled interview in the future that it’s been canceled and that the applicants will need to reapply when the window opens up (vs just be given an new interview date).
  23. Wasn’t this the no-kidding goal of the DoD?
  24. That sounds like a lot of work compared to flying a legacy 13-15 days a month.
  25. Wait until you find out that random people can get AIB reports via google.
