    I'm in the camp that totally supports the CSAF's intention here. The problem is, if the chain of command between me and the CSAF doesn't support his initiative, it really doesn't do me a whole lot of good to chaff off the regs... Which camp are you in?

    I am currently enrolled in an MBA distance-learning program. We have to attend these long immersion weekends several times throughout the program. Friends from other services told me they were able to get permissive TDY for these weekends. After quickly scanning AFI 36-3003, I can't find anything in Table 7 that would suggest this is legit. Please PM if you might have any suggestions/info about this.

    I used MARS Radio several times over the past few days during XC flights. They were very helpful and very professional--I certainly appreciate the fact that they volunteer their time for us.

    I think I have finally picked out the handgun I want to buy. However, I'm running into issues going through the process because of my situation. I'm a resident of one state, physically live in a 2nd state, and am assigned to a base in a 3rd state. This is causing all sorts of headaches (particularly when state laws come into play). I'd rather not post anything more specific on this thread. If you'd be willing to help me navigate this, I'd appreciate a PM. Thanks!

    As someone who works on a base very close to the Navy Yard and was on lockdown all day, I can assure you this was not my first reaction. It was just my first reaction to share on BO. I'm definitely thinking about the victims and their families.
