  1. To be clear, you're saying if the lawsuits are dismissed for lack of standing, cause, non-procedural issues, etc., then it's still a legitimate election for Biden? I would suggest that some people on this board, and a ton in my FB feed, who wear that label disagree with that assessment. Where is your line for the judiciaries hand in deciding the election, especially since the Courts have been very reluctant so far to get very involved? Fantastic read, thanks for sharing. I also happened to come across this, about some GI's taking extreme voter corruption head on. Book just came out about it - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Athens_(1946) It's been made apparent that my time on here isn't as appreciated by my family as it is by me. Additionally, my daughter was directly exposed to COVID..so I'm going to hunker down, lurk, and take care of what's important. Thank you all for the conversation and different opinions.
  2. Fantastic read, thanks for posting that. No sarcasm. I love lawyer shit, and I learned more about PA elections than I ever wanted to. For everyone else here's what that lawsuit is asking the court to do - TL;DR - stop certifying the election; or certify it except for the votes we couldn't see and don't count the cured votes; and/or give us fees. It will be interesting to read what the defendants response is. This is only the claims for plaintiff, which of course frame it in the best way possible for them. Given the previous lawsuit outcomes in PA...I'm doubtful, but also not a lawyer so I don't know shit. For @Seadogs you know what's not in there? Thousands of affidavits, claims of thousands coming, or any affidavits actually. There's use of the words: "poll workers claim;" "one," "two," and "numerous" claims. But those aren't affidavits. Besides the campaign there's only 2 other plaintiffs. Even taking them all together in this lawsuit...not thousands of affidavits, or even claims. Maybe 20...maybe. Did you read it before you posted it, or just assumed it supported your claim? It's a good read. I don't think in the end they're going to get thousands of people claiming fraud, they'll get maybe a couple hundred. Now, is that enough to get the justices to act, then get a recount, and that recount push the needle far enough right in enough counties to change the outcome? WHO KNOWS?! It sure is exciting though! I've got zero problems with the legal process working it's way through. I'm following Ben Shapiro and the Daily Wire on this one relatively closely. Question for the Trump supporters though, lets say these lawsuits go nowhere...still massive voter fraud conspiracy/stolen election? At any point do you accept the results? What if massive fraud is proved in PA, but nowhere else and Biden still takes the EC? I also apologize for the name calling, it was outta line. I voted R every office but Pres, and Attorney General in my state. The AG is too in bed with Big Tech for my liking. I don't believe we're that opposed in principal. I just never got the zealous support for any candidate...ever.
  3. Cool. Not at all. M2, who asked us to play nicer a few posts ago. I didn't. That was a concerned "take a break." Good night.
  4. There plan is not to rely on a vaccine, they're opening back up now after a lock down with very low case counts. Just so we're clear...there's no nation outside the US we can compare response to then unless they're having problems right now according to your requirements? Can you control for an American city similar to Melbourne, like SLC, or Portland...or somewhere else?
  5. Dude...take a break.
  6. Site your source you dumb motherfucker.
  7. Australia then.
  8. Any other Pres gone through this many SecDef's in so short a time? New guy probably not going to get confirmed, so not sure if he should count. Looks like any other Pres that went through so many did it over 8 years. Wikipedia's got a nice color-code for acting/confirmed. Pres. Trump's time looks starkly different to the rest, which is interesting.
  9. LOL. Responding almost 2-for-1 in posts. Def not triggered.
  10. Agreed. Now, how would you define the problem? There's been a few other posts on here with a lot of good nuance. What's your thoughts? I apologize if I missed it before, shoot me the post and I'll read it again.
  11. I don't know. We keep selecting "conservative judges" and they keep doing things that are unexpected. Sure, they'll probably be more right leaning and less "legislative," but at the same time there's always that outlier case that can really change things. I have a feeling getting on SCOTUS is a lot like joining the Presidents Club. The weight of the office modifies, if not changes, some previously held beliefs. Kinda like Command in that way as well. Either way Senate will remain R (woo) so not too much damage will be done.
  12. Uh oh, people don't agree with you on something so we're going the wrong way, and you don't like it?! Cry somewhere else like a bitch. We're having big boy discussions in here.
  13. You must be hella fun in a debrief.
  14. Oh.. is this better? If Biden wins, it's shenanigans. If Trump wins, it's vindication. Cause that's what we're doing right now.
  15. Was this pushing for more civil rights investigations into police abuses or something else? I think also the seeds sown by the right leaning news sources about him as the "worst President ever" further pushed that narrative along. Obama did some shady shit, as all presidents do, but the vitriol of my friends who only consumed Fox surprised me. I think there does need to be something done about the conglomerate media sources, both print, news and social media. What that solution is...I don't know. But the ability for them to spread misinformation without repercussion, or stifle speech to skew one way is cancer to a free society. However, now that this election is over...is there a silent majority? Between the loud/proud Trump supporters and the Biden supporters there's another space? Trump supporters were never quiet, and only got louder as the election came closer. I don't think there's some silent majority. As some other commentators have said, this a repudiation of Trump, not of conservative/right-wing policies. I agree with that, voted almost entirely red except for the President...despite what my friends/family think. Agreed. I think if Trump had just taken COVID seriously we'd be having a completely different conversation. It has hit minority communities pretty hard, and while he picked up more votes there (great!) it probably was too much given the "racism in the white house" narrative on top of the plague. Even if he kept tweeting like crazy, dog whistling to conspiracy and maybe racist groups/militias. Anecdotal, but I had a lot of officer friends who're done with him for COVID response alone. The "I'm not responsible" comment in particular hit my male friends hard.
  16. I think they're going to modify the immigration stance, and maybe finally push into place good, legal immigration changes. Perhaps take a look at the border in total (Canadian, increased human trafficking in ports). End "kids in cages" legislatively. Get rid of traitors names for US military bases. They'll definitely get back to caring about the deficit, and not robbing social security.
  17. Except Fox.
  18. In addition to this, what kind of crazy shit are we going to see from Trump as he exits? Is it going to be along the lines of the Clinton-Pardon-Party, or something else?
  19. Not hating, but I would love to read a source for that. Anyone checked on Guardian recently? I'm sure s/he's already running from the Commissars.
  20. That a professional caught and fixed. Hell, we should hire that person to run Finance.
  21. I never said anything about racism...wtf are you on about? Just to be clear when you talk about the before part and "out of context" you must have just forget this part - "I’ve gotta use some tic tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful—I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything....Grab them by the pussy,...You can do anything” No...that doesn't sound consensual to me. Especially that "Just kiss. I don't even wait." We're talking about the ladies in our lives and why they're turned off by Trump's rhetoric. I specifically said my wife waited through to see if she agreed with his policies, some she did...most she didn't. COVID response was probably the final straw for her personally, it was for me. Over it all was a inability to stand they way he communicates anything. Again you denigrate the people who disagree with you: "feminine men." Thereby inferring only masculine dudes don't have a problem with his lack of "being a gentlemen." There are a lot of conservatives who're calling him out right now for "being an A$$" and calling our democratic institutions a fraud. A plan from Republicans that doesn't cause her family to go into bankruptcy because of issues beyond their control. gg, no re
  22. My wife was the same. Been a R voter most of her life until 2016. As much as she hated Hillary she couldn't vote for "grab 'em by the pussy." She's tried very hard to see through, but some of policies (re: healthcare) she juts doesn't agree with, and his lack of tact pushes her over.
  23. People have brought up points and logic, and you claim it's not, or they're cherry-picking, or it's not a fact just emotion. You've been unwilling to look at your own arguments with a critical eye through this whole thing (ex: health care discussion we had on here) or admit something might not be good. Because someone disagrees with you where the country should go doesn't make them evil, stupid or any other slander. I get the keyboard anonymity vitriol, but calm down. Have a barley pop and realize the totality of the election. Red picked up a lot in the legislatures of most states, gained in the House, and probably will keep the Senate. You're stooping to Sim levels...don't be Sim.
  24. This is a fun twitter thread about the Philly lawsuit that got tossed. https://twitter.com/kadhim/status/1324482449498394624?s=20
  25. Calm down Francis.
