Trump's Cabinet
Lol. Nice ad hominim. They've tossed those not in charge of the war effort. Those in charge of administrative roles. On top of the firings last year. Held promotions forcing retirements. Blocking promotions of what appear to be worthy, but minority officers, for...no clear reason breaking with prior R and D administrations. No general running the Iran campaign has gotten axed yet. No commander of a base where air defenses "failed," and Americans died or major strategic assets were lost. So your comparisons are trash. But go on about how I'm hyperventilating. Note - I don't think those CCs should get fired. Just showing the contrast in your comparisons.

Artificial Intelligence: Discussion and demonstrations
If you haven't seen the news about OpenClaw's massive vuln's I'd encourage you to use it in an extremely protected environment with zero access to any of your personal information or credentials. It has massive supply chain risks with real world impacts on people. EDIT - apparently this thread started in Feb and I'm too stupid to see dates. Leaving this here for shaming purposes.

Reminds me when I was in SOS and we had the ANG/Reserve briefing. They were going on about how involved they were augmenting the AD force during the Iraq/AFG steady state. They asked , "Isn't that great?" I guess maybe if they're trying to get those points for retirement or whatever. But, no, I think utilizing these forces like they're AD is hiding real manpower issues, and abusing the folks who signed up for a "less strenuous" but longer reward commitment. Happy for feedback, but that shit bugged the fuck outta me.

I guess this gets into a convo for possibly the other thread. Happy to move it there. But where would you say the balance is for making this assessment? Sure, we pounded them super hard, obliterated their Navy and AF, smoked leadership (plus a school)...but they still held strategic military and civilian assets at risk throughout the entire process. I won't even get into the money/cost portion. Speaking of which, keep the sailors who've been deployed for 10 months in your prayers. Operating off a flight deck after almost a year at sea sounds like a special hell. Even if they got the knock it off today, still a month to get home.

It's knows who the real boss is. 😃 Tough that we won't know what part cyber did play in the operation. I hope the leaders who were in while I still was saying you can win with just binary have shut up/retired. Cyber is an excellent force multiplier, but the technical burn that can occur using it offensively can be extremely high. I agree 100% it should be part of the campaign planning. If I was an RU or CN I'd have people all over Iran looking at critical infrastructure, major backbone providers, endpoints, etc., trying to find our TTPs and IOCs. I think, opinion only, China is the closest peer in that domain right now. I'm worried burning capes on this "limited operation" will be giving a lot away. I'll see if I can't muster up the time to post something about it in the dead cyber thread.
