Cool...if mil-mil couples wanted to get their short tours done at the same time...and the same location...sounds like a good deal. "This change in policy is only for the military couples; dependents are still not authorized to accompany the Airmen to Osan. Each Airman will be required to live in separate unaccompanied quarters; however, they will receive short tour credit and still be eligible for follow-on consideration." I know a bunch of people at HAF who genuinely care and are trying to successfully implement Fingers’ reg reduction/rescinsion/simplifying. It’s not going to be easy given the timeline and pervasive AF mentality of more refs from on top...but it is being worked.

Once your HARM fixed the tables for your base... You will be due at the end of the 17th month after you took it last. Same as a check ride cycle. Pro tip: take it during your check ride window to keep it aligned.

You should be able to jump from the E-8 to UPT or the E-3 next assignment. She should be able to go to any Mx unit.

MAF and CAF are getting several more functional billets and filling then because the 4-stars want them engaging with us peons. Like answering the phone and whatnot. I commend the existing MAF functionality who set up their Facebook group. Transparent is better.

Different communities and MAJCOMs have different rules/interpretations. If we show to the jet, AMCC, squadron, etc. then my crew has started the FDP. Brief time doesn’t start our clock in AMC; show time (at the aforementioned locations) does. If I’m awake and check the weather or SMS from my hotel room, then I’m not breaking crew rest by 202V3 2.1.2. If I get on the bus, I am still in the 12 hours of crew rest set aside for transportation, meals, etc. This is why we have MAJCOM and Wing supplements...MAJCOMs have operational authority.
