It's a mix of that storm, the cold front mentioned above, and one of the major scary factors is the full moon, before it ever started raining many of the urban areas were already flooded from the high tide and surge that is preceding the actual storm. Who knows how high it'll get once it starts pouring.

Hey guys I'm planning to fall off the AETC radar for two weeks in England/Europe, looking for some guidance Is there a bus/transit system to get from Mildenhall into cambridge for boozing?/ an easy way to get into London from there? Further suggestions for best bases to go to in europe taking into account that I just want to get off base drinking the local brew and "sampling the scenery".

Where are dudes living out there? (nightlife, things to do etc for a single dude)

I think the best argument is that of inspiring the future pilots for sure. Since 9/11 when kids can't go up to the cockpit on their commercial flights, airlines don't have the cash to give out maps and plastic wings, and there isn't a "Top Gun" (that Korean one might do the trick), there has to be some way to keep kids realizing that we have the best job in the damn world. Airshows have to be (no empirical evidence at all) the best way to plant that seed.
