My house was built in 74. It was overbuilt in 74, but I still spend a shitload on the hurricane side of homeowners insurance. So im excited at the prospect!

If you go with the enclosure, look into an automated solar heater. You'll be surprised how much it slows the spring warm up ....

Adair t-38s do lots of stuff, all of which builds time and experience for the younguns. Most of it is being a radar reflector. Some of it is awesome. The squadron tries to work most of the snapishness out before the bcourse .... with varying success. So remember you're a new guy in a "fighter" squadron and not particularly special. Snacko and cleaning floors shouldn't feel beneath your talents (hint, you don't have any yet). You should get a raptor follow on. Unless you're a retard. Or afpc changes their mind. Or afpc forgets to build slots in the raptor training pipeline for you. But so far, it's been working out pretty well. Langley or Tyndall?

No but that doesn't really exist (like it used to be) on ad either. And the airlines pay you enough to throw your own strippers and beer naming party if you feel like it. Every weekend if you're really feeling froggy.

Initially it's a negotiation with the carrier ... so shoot for the moon. Once they've made/paid their final offer, you can follow up with base legal (the old way) for anything you don't think was fully covered.

The student night landing, whilst you're in the trunk, is especially fun. Especially when there's no flare whatsoever. Cant count the number of times I looked over and expected to see the struts poking up through the wings.
One of the few upsides .... the DPE is great and is also a United Captain and will write you a pretty damn good recommendation.

I get that if the meeting didn't go as well as the bobs had hoped it would be mildly embarrassing. If it went as badly as rumor suggests it would be really embarrassing. But that's no reason to bury the truth. Evidently I can ask Ed Bastion anything. Let's see what he has to say.....
