Tell me about it... my boss just made me remove all of the pictures of the wives of the other guys in my office wearing bikinis that I had on my desk! Some people are so sensitive!!! I mean seriously, it’s not like it was the naked pictures I had of them up!!!2 points

I'm offended that someone finds the things I like (women in bikinis, Hooter calendars, etc) offensive. These are my personal things in my personal work/living space and I hate being chastized for it....in fact, it makes me feel that I'm being discriminated against and creates a hostile work environment for me. What are you going to do about it Mr SECAF, Mr SECDEF, Mr POTUS? I means seriously, are people really so f*cking offended at bikinis? WTF do they do when they go to the beach? Or the base swimming pool? Are they going to ban bikinis there too? I mean, I might see Amn Yummy Britches from finance there with her perfect 36C boobies in that bikini, and it would just create an uncomfortable work environment when I'm sitting waiting at finance when she calls my name, and now I have wood in my flightsuit because I'm thinking about how she looked at the pool last weekend.... It might be time for me to go... Rant - (OH EFF EFF)1 point

If you have signed away all parental rights and custody to a child and are asked if you have children (even on an SF86) and you say no, you are not lying. I have had several TS and higher security investigations and re-investigations done in my career... not once in an interview have I been asked about my children... not once! BTW... I know the speed limit on the way to work this morning was 65... I was doing at least 75 the whole way (knowingly breaking the law); I hope they don't yank my clearance. I also hope that past discretions doesn't mean I'll be presumed guilty of a terrible crime by people like you 10 years from now because of my history of willingly breaking the law! While it is unfortunate, I can say that I've known dozens of people in Squadrons who at some point cheated on their spouse (men and women) and the spouse found out about it, but they worked it out and are still together. This includes two current Squadron Commanders in Ops Flying Squadrons. If I heard they were in a similar situation as Wilkerson I wouldn't think for a second that the chick they hooked up with in Vegas that weekend or in K-Town on that trip 10 yrs ago meant they were predisposed to this type of behavior.1 point

Yeah, I know where you are going with the more to the story part Huggy, but for obvious reasons going into that publicly is a very bad idea. I tried to send you a message, but it says you cannot receive any new messages. Anyway, I was not trying to flame those two guys specifically, though it may have seemed that way. It was a general crushing for anyone who did it. Those flashcards were given to us by FSI (not sure about the other contracts), and they told us that we needed to know them for our check ride. It is also stated in the POH and PTM that aerobatics are prohibited. Now, I know the argument can be made that those are not air force regulations, blah blah. But, anyone who performed that maneuver knew it was something they were not supposed to be doing and were morons for doing it.1 point

Best post on the thread so far IMHO. You hit the nail on the head in every way.1 point

Ok dude, you went from your argument being that this alleged past affair now makes it more likely that he assaulted that chick, to...what's on a security clearance request form...getting a little bit in the weeds to say the least. Overall though, by your reasoning, everything Bill Clinton or Gen Patreus said was a lie since they both cheated on their wives, and additionally, at least in the case of clinton Clinton, originally lied about it too. Oh, and does that mean that Clinton also assaulted those women he allegedly slept with even before being President, being that one directly has to do with the other, right? I thought you were done talking about this subject? Here's a tip--don't become a lawyer.1 point

I will start with this... the fact that adultery is a prosecutable crime under the UCMJ is absolutely stupid! You want to talk about budget savings... how much does the DoD spend prosecuting this "crime" every year? I get it, cheating is bad and I don't condone it... but as far as I'm concerned, if his wife knew about it and also knew he signed away parental rights then it isn't any of my or your business and it isn't a "secret child". As far as him not supporting the child, you have no idea what the agreement was between him and the woman. I guess I either have a bad memory or got a different questionnaire than you did, but I've had a TS or higher clearance for my whole career... I don't remember the part where they asked anything about having an affair or having a "secret child". I don't care that Slick Willey and JFK were using the Oval Office like the Jungle Room at Graceland and I don't care that Gen Patreaus and Eisenhower were letting some "advisor" polish their Stars in the AOR... and I certainly don't want to spend money for some JAG to prosecute the 21 year old SrA for "adultery" because his soon to be ex-wife was pissed when she found out he is dating his old high school girlfriend while they are separated just waiting on some State timeline requirement for a divorce decree to be signed! Before we start convicting guys of crimes because of something they did 10 years ago (that isn't a crime to any other American) and isn't remotely related to the facts of this case, maybe we should go back 10-20 years on those in Congress and talk about glass houses. And before you start chiming in with blackmail/extortion over cheating and security clearances... I get it. But how much of that goes away if you remove the UCMJ violation part? Rant complete...1 point

This is all for show...DoD has to look like they are doing SOMETHING. We aren't going to fix this problem overnight...probably not even in the next decade. I hate to say it but this sh*t will keep happening as long as we have TDYs to exotic places where people go and blow off steam. People are going to keep drinking and making bad decisions...drunk women are still going to keep going home with dudes thinking they are going to get tea and scrumpets and then get surprised there are no scrumpets. Dudes are still going to go TDY to Thailand and party with the local girls (and ladyboys if you're not careful) and help populate Asia. We are humans, and the media all over the world glamorizes sex and sexy things. It is what sells. Those quiet guys you think are poster boy/girl Air Force are probably some of the dirtiest people out there. Don't be fooled. Sure, there are some straight arrows out there...but come on, that Squadron Bar Daily Photo thread is almost always in the top 10 threads. In fact, I'm going to visit it right now....1 point

I'm not sure what has happened since I retired, but if shit is really going on, it needs to be stop or at least reduced. However, I can see a huge number of second- and third-order effects from the course they have chosen, and a lot of unintended consequences.1 point

Wanted to throw some kudos to Chick-Fil-A in St Louis. I can't get on facebook from this cave to get the link. After Cyr's memorial friends and family made a push to his favorite restaurant off base for some food and good stories. Chick-Fil-A was notified in advance of the crowd for the next day, they closed the resturaunt to the public and their headquarters covered the costs of everyone's meal. Maybe this link will work... https://www.facebook.com/ksdktv/posts/102004038762317731 point
