  1. I love the irony of this... All of these box checking Sq/Gp/Wg Commanders will tell pilots who actually want to do their job instead of all the meaningless queep (AAD/PME in Cor/Etc) that they are an "Officer First" instead of a pilot, but then you have a kid who either washes out or quits UPT/Flight Screening and they say, "Sorry, we hired you to be a pilot... you're out and here is the bill".

  2. Welcome to the party! We "gun nuts," hate to have to defend our right to own guns every time some shit head commits a crime with one, as well.

  3. Umm...perhaps for you journalists. Most of us are pilots. Didn't you get the memo on that, Steve?

  4. What does the Air Force care about an old wooden ship? Isn't that the Navy's problem (along with anal STDs)?

  5. There is relentless discussion on this board about getting out of the military, but I don't hear a whole lot from the guys who got out and are making a buck in the civilian world (outside the airlines or guard/reserve). With that being said, I have been looking at the headhunter firms and honestly cannot determine which one, if any, is better than the other. From a completely uneducated perspective, I would think that quality of interviews is a fine balance with quantities of looks you get from companies. Does any one have any experience with Cameron Brooks, Alliance, Bradley Morris that would make you definitively say that one is better than the other?

  7. Good. Our Constitution won't be plundered, and he will get the due process owed to him. May justice be done, and may he rot in hell with his brother.

  8. If someone lets their fear of failing UPT keep them from trying, it probably wasn't for them anyway.

  14. Not even for fini flights! When you're on state property, you play by state rules. I know of at least 3 states with the same rule. It also doesn't help when the Army is part of your chain of command.

  15. Is there any other reason to work at a camp...or Catholic Church for that matter? I was too busy with JROTC, show choir and CAP to go, sadly. Still am.

  16. Christmas '09 underwear bomber tried to blow up a US airliner over US soil, had his rights read to him within an hour and he's a Nigerian. This SOB is an American and he's not entitled? Rule of law according to political whim. What could possibly go wrong...

  18. They are all in the USA. They all have populations over 100,000. They each have close to a 50/50 ratio of males to females. They've each been in the news at some point. Finally and most compelling: Waco is in the same state as Austin, a university near Oklahoma City plays football against a team from Austin, and Boston rhymes with Austin. Strange how all these seemingly innocuous factors line up. There's only one logical conclusion. Osama bin Laden is having dinner right now with George Soros and Glenn Beck.
