Boise sent out an email for those that didn’t get an interview. Nothing on Madison either.

Madison interviews will be the weekend of Feb 7-9 and invites will be out in the next two weeks. Per an individual on their team I spoke to.

As previously alluded to, yep! Majority of 60/130 hires are from off the street, I'd say at least 1/2 of the ops guys are from elsewhere. For those who can't navigate the DMNA website, here are the pilot openings...

Random question: anyone else who was subscribed to this thread no longer getting emails? It’s worked for me for months but doesn’t seem to be emailing me anymore. They’re not going to my spam folder either.

ADMIN NOTE:  I have no idea what the issue is, but I never subscribe to threads in the first place.  However, I just signed up for this one to see if I get the notifications, and if there is an issue, we will pass it on to the software folks.

Unfortunately, I can't promise when it will be fixed.  We're due for an update that may take a couple of days to occur, but those are usually for security issues so don't be surprised if nothing changes after it.  

I ask for an appreciate your patience as we figure out what's going on...

Oh no of course not, I was just concerned that they might not have received it since other people were getting an email about the reschedule. I shot a follow up email and they confirmed that it was received and then sent me the same info so it's all good.

Anyone aware of any upcoming meet and greets for the 114th and/or 123rd Fighter Squadrons?

2, friend of mine got hired from outside the unit and mission

For those of you applying to the 114th and 123rd FS's, (Portland and Klamath Falls OR, respectively) are you combining applications or are you making 2 separate ones?

I doubt this has changed, but last year they wanted one application to the ORANG. The board is a room split 1/2 and 1/2 guys from each unit.

Anyone heard anything from the 176th/Madison?

Can confirm that this hasn’t changed. One package goes to both units.

YouTube tracks views. If you keep your video unlisted then all views should be coming from the squadron.

When I spoke to them years ago, they said they only hired from within. I've never even seen info about a board.

If you're interviewing, good luck! Memphis is a much better town that people give it credit for. A TON of great food.

I don't know. I called, got an application and now have an interview in Feb. Granted, I'm current military but not Air Force. Cheers for the luck, I need it!

Going off my previous post here. Do you guys think its not a good use of time interviewing with a unit that gives preference to those within their organization? As much as I want to attend every interview, time and cost are not expendable especially already being in the military myself.

I think interviewing with any unit that you can see yourself flying with long term is a good use of time. 

If there's one thing that holds true (in my opinion) throughout this process, it's that we as applicants have absolutely no clue what any given unit is looking for. Don't handicap yourself by not taking an interview simply because you think you'd have less of a chance.  

That being said, if you've been offered two interviews at units you like equally, of course, choose the one that you think you have a better shot at. But don't sell short the opportunity to get a slot simply because of message boards or rumors. We have no clue what they're looking for. 

Addendum... especially somewhere like Memphis. The food, music and culture of that town rocks, and if civilian flying is your thing, you're already living in base.
