By ordering Stingrays, that assembly line doesn’t shut down, your employees aren’t laid off, and you now have two assembly lines building products for different customers and their requirements. I think the biggest problem is the lack of standardization of training in local law enforcement. Some states require local cops to go through their state academy, some don’t. There needs to be a more standardized process and I think there should be joint academies that train multiple state and local officers.

A lot of them will resign in the middle of an investigation, which will allow them to say they weren't terminated for cause, and it also stops the investigation (usually).
