  1. @tac airlifter Directly from the Red Cross…
  2. Sigh...dude it's not new. That has been policy for over 3 years now. I'm not making a comment on said policy, just that it's not a new thing, and portraying it as new is invalid. So if this is what your posts are about as you just said, then this entire discussion is flawed because it's based on a false premise. For the third time, we probably agree on just about everything COVID-related, but you're clearly seeing red and grasping for anything that supports your opinion, critical thought and individual research be damned. I likely agree with your overall opinion of all things COVID-related, but there's plenty of valid data to support said opinion; this straw man is not one of them.
  3. Hate to say it man, but you are completely wrong - you absolutely can give blood immediately after getting a vaccine, including Covid vaccines and boosters from multiple companies. It’s very clearly stated on the website. And what was the point of your illegals comment? Seems like a red herring - I don’t see how that aspect is related at all to the specific discussion on giving blood IRT vaccine status. These guidelines were published as early as Feb 21 (3 years ago). So no, they are not “new.” Again, I’m with you on everything that’s fucked with COVID responses, but making arguments based on extreme grasping at straws is not helpful and only serves to reduce credibility of the overarching message. Another example was the recent outcry by some conservatives about the CPS taking a kid from their home in MT. It initially blew up in conservative circles - and it was a 100% good and right thing for CPS to do in that specific circumstance. Those conservatives who bought and propagated that story in the early days only hurt the credibility of the valid argument against the govt strong arming parental control/rights over their children. The overarching message is valid and good, but the reaction to that MT case weakened the overall argument. The left is not the only group of people susceptible to falling for bullshit, half truths, and extreme exaggerations.
  4. You and I probably align almost 100% on the Covid debacle. But, the twitter post implies the Red Cross rule is another smoking gun regarding Covid info cover up. The reality is they just say you have to simply wait 2 weeks to donate blood if you got a live virus vaccine. This does not include the 3x companies that probably 99% of America got. There are lots of smoking guns out there and tons of data that shows how fucked up/wrong/ineffective the vaccines and other COVID responses were/are, and demo the extreme amount of gaslighting conducted by the govt, the medical community, and big Pharm (and championed by the shithead progressive left). I have no trust in our govt, big Pharm, and medical community gets almost none - case by case basis I’ll trust any of them. But like it or not, this specific Red Cross thing is absolutely a nothing burger. Every time somebody goes after something like this, it provides a, “ha, gotcha!” moment for the left, and they use it to delegitimize the overarching message (which is a valid message). It’s not a good plan to fight mouth breathers with mouth breathing.
  5. Another friendly reminder: Never trust anything you see on SM, MSM, blog site, etc. Go independently verify the claims or implications on at least a couple other sources before accepting and/or spreading said claims and implications. If more Americans did this, we’d be so much better off.
  6. We’ve already checked the persecution and imprisonment containers, just have death in prison left to go.
  7. That’s the staff in a nutshell, and probably has been that way since the 70s. Sad.
  8. Screams not credible and fake. Yes the implication is possible, and we know governments (including ours) do illegal spying, but this specific letter is very likely complete bullshit. Clinton, Obama, etc. are absolute dishonest, garbage humans, but that doesn’t make this letter real.
  9. Consuming “budget dust” out back of the alert shack with SrA yummy pants?
  10. Biden could reverse all of his idiotic immigration moves and that’d be a huge “something” to help the problem. The bill is to some extent a red herring, the guy in charge power-fucked our national security day one. But, plenty of people just ignore that while thinking congress is actually going to solve anything. Put leadership in that actually gives a fuck about America - that’s the only viable solution with legs.
  11. When you have the weakest American leader in history, this is the type of stuff you get. The kids have been left home alone for so long without adult supervision that the ideas and actions have risen to an alarmingly high level of dumb/crazy.
  12. To sum up anyone’s discussion with lawman on this topic:
  13. As a side note, during what training maneuver is 0.5 to 0g flight occurring?
  14. False. You are in love with semantical arguments. The no shit text uses the terms “alien” and “encounter.” It literally says the border is not shut down until the 7 day average of “alien encounters” surpasses 5k. Alien is everyone - the terrorist, the Chinese spy, the trafficked kid, the drug runner, the AFG refugee, etc. There is no delineation between who that alien is in the text. So I guess if it helps your brain work better - replace “illegal” with “alien” in all the quotes your railing against and they are 100% accurate sentiments. Word smithing gymnastics doesn’t change the basis of the argument.
  15. I wouldn’t talk to an AME, unless you have a personal friend who’s willing to discuss hypothetical situations. I’ve been flying for 25 years and never have heard of an actual medical condition as you describe. I’m not saying it doesn’t exist, but I think the most likely situation is your body subconsciously reacting to a new/uncomfortable physiological situation. Have CFI fly while you actively concentrate on staying relaxed during these scenarios - see if you can mentally (and therefore physically) train your body to stop tensing up. Also, when you say < 1g/rapid descent, in what maneuvers is this happening? If your CFI is leveling off from a climb with less than 1g he either sucks at flying, or is to some extent fucking around (purposely doing < 1g with no requirement to do so)…neither is a good quality to have in a CFI teaching a new student.
  16. The actual staff can’t even “A-staff”well, but I’m sure the wing level will nail it.
  17. You’re not wrong, but semantics are still at play. Up to 4999 rolling daily average and CBP keeps the border open. Only at 5000 average do they have the power to shut down the border (which is described as an “emergency” action and intended to be temp in nature). Or they could just shut down the border right now and leave it shut until we fix this disaster of epic proportions. We’re in a massive emergency situation, but the bill doesn’t support that fact until the daily average getting through is 5k+. In summary, this bill’s supporters are tacitly OK with 4999 daily average.
  18. I wouldn’t rule out it’s a subconscious response from your body “freaking out” over a new physiological situation it isn’t used to. I’d give it some more time and try to consciously think about relaxing. It’s a common response for the body to tense up when you feel anxiety, fear, stress, etc. (even if those feelings are subconscious). Don’t start to go down the crazy medical rabbit hole yet.
  19. 100%. The people could stop this bullshit pretty quickly, but they won’t, because TikTok, Obama Phones, etc.
  20. Never had a bio, and I see that as a win.
  21. Absolutely! Throw in term limits, age limits, and a transition back to the federalized system we should be, and we’ll be on a relatively smooth path to another few hundred years of being the greatest nation on earth. But no, that won’t happen, because power greed is a real thing.
  22. Wow, I don’t know a single person who makes their own primers. That’s impressive…and short of full anarchy/Armageddon, below the cut line for me.
  23. I logged it all, and as far as the ground guy…
