Had a Founders Brewing Breakfast Stout the other week. It's a double-chocolate coffee oatmeal stout, and it is delicious. Easily one of the best beers I have ever had. 9.6/10.

Very solid beer - especially for the winter. I also think Founder's Porter is probably the best porter out there as well. And their Centennial IPA is very good too.

Sierra Nevada Narwhal: black as midnight, thick like molasses. Good stuff.

Has anyone tried New Belgium's Accumulation IPA?

Solid IPA, picked up a case at Costco. I like it, can't say much more.

Left Hand Wake Up Dead Imperial Stout. Long name for a good beer. Thick, strong, dark as coffee.

Baltika #7 10 out of 10

Not too bitter

Not too hoppy

Nice finish

Any G2 on Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA?

split a 2013 Bourbon County Brand Stout with the Old Man on NYE. Very boozy (its 14% abv), lots of chocolate, caramel, black licorice, and a bit of bourbon, but you can taste the potential for aging. Looking forward to cracking one in several years.

And the brewery was founded by two previous Air Force guys. Gives me ideas for my retirement plan. If you like that, try their Nitro Stout or the Milk Stout.

Revolver Brewery blood and honey American Ale is delightful! Brewed in Granbury Texas. Very smooth with hints of grapefruit and honey.

Revolver does an open house every Saturday from noon to 3 if you to be passing through the neighborhood.

I don't know what G2 means, but I like the Torpedo. Local Costco stocks it and I drink lots.

Great IPA!

Highly recommend Delirium Tremens. Difficult to find, but worth the work to get it.

I'll second the vote for DT. I also knock back a lot of Bear Republic's Racer 5 IPA.

Porterhouse Devil's Half Acre -- a Dark IPA, 13.5 ABV, aged 6 months in Irish Wiskey casks. If you are ever in Dublin I highly recommend it.

Shiner White Wing

Witbier/4.70& ABV/Not bad, 3.5 out of 5.

second on the white wing, I dig it.

Also, just had the Breckenridge Agave Wheat, and while slightly sweeter than other wheats, goes down smooth. 8/10.

G2 refers literally to Division Level or higher military intelligence..... :bash:

"G2"? Seriously? Nobody fucking says that, you're trying too hard.

Wait, are you Army?

Wait, so saying "what's the G2" means "what's the intel?"

Hell, I was in the Army, and I've never heard that before.

Anyway, Torpedo good (my palate, not that sophisticated)

Retired Army

You may have come in after I left 1969-2009....I bought Torpedo and its really good stuff! Thanks sputnik!

Currently drinking a McEwans Scotch Ale.

It was a replacement for another Scottish ale I was looking for but couldn't find. Very good flavor. Almost has a caramel/malt flavor to it but not in a way that you forget your drinking a beer.
