Saturday at 04:14 AM5 days The only real deterrent, and I doubt if it is legal, would be to hold the lawmakers in contempt of court and put them in jail for passing laws that any first year law student could tell will absolutely be struck down by the courts. Otherwise they pass a law they know will get struck down, but makes life miserable for gun owners until it does. Then once it gets struck, they change happy to glad and pass it again knowing full well what the result will be.
Saturday at 02:00 PM5 days You guys really don't get it? This is a culture war play in the short term and a step in the direction of Australia style gun bands and "buybacks." And if they could get it, repeal of the 2nd.They know SCOTUS will strike a bunch of it down. But then they turn to their base and say "see, the ultra MAGA crazies are preventing us from keeping you safe!"The left never trusted that the right wasn't coming for abortion, and the right has never trusted that the left isn't coming for all the guns. Both sides are correct not to trust the other.
Yesterday at 12:51 PM1 day Update for those using (or attempting to use), the new Electronic Form 4 with ATF. The system has crashed multiple times since they went live the first of the year, they did not anticipate the increased demand caused by lowering the tax stamp to )$....morons.I bought a quick disconnect suppressor for my Sig MPX and a new 5.7X28 from SPARTAC with an integrated ans sheathed with suppressor. When I completed the form the website crashed multiple times while trying to submit, was successful the next day. I am at Day 5 with no change in status. I've heard reports of 1-7 days for individual and longer for trusts. Totally subjective but the broker told me for the ones he is processing, if someone has a security clearance (a lot of military where I live), it is taking twice as long as the others with out. No idea why that would be the case....and could just be his experience locally as a one off. Pictures when complete.
Yesterday at 01:07 PM1 day Just got my EForm 4 Ready to Submit email this morning. Fingers crossed......I'll follow up
Yesterday at 01:55 PM1 day Hopefully they have their shit in a sock when I go to buy later this year.

I had an issue when I filed a Form 4 for a free SBR a couple of years back during the brace amnesty period. I don't know why, it simply doesn't make sense...
7 hours ago7 hr Dems launching another attack on the 2nd amendment. Senator Chris Murphy (D) NY), is pushing an amendment that will raise the NFA Tax Stamp to $4709 per item.
6 hours ago6 hr How about there’s a $4709 tax you have to pay to vote. Same thing Chris, you dipshit.
