  1. I hope Luke stays around. I think he can be a big time QB if we can protect him and give him WRs who can actually hold onto the ball.
  2. Glad you were able to attend the game. Other than going to Pasadena for our last National Championship in '13 and us beating Florida in the swamp 38-34, some of my most memorable games I've attended were in the early 2000's against UM. I think we may be in for a long couple of years. All of our blue chip talent has decommitted. Some are asking if Deion might be an answer to at least attract some talent. No opinion on that but clearly we need something to change.
  3. Update, college freshman as of yesterday took one for the team. No bullshit, (only dogshit.)
  4. No way we put up 37 points. We are averaging about 13 points a game. I think we have 9 or 10 TDs on the year, one of those being a kick return. But I'll take anything positive for the Seminoles this year. I'll say Luke Kromenhoek did look pretty solid in his first CFB showing as a true freshman. He had two dimes that would have been TDs if his receivers had caught the ball. I just want to finish the season knowing what QB is going to start in '25 and replace all of our offensive assistant coaches and bring in an O coordinator who will put in place his own system. I think Norvell got fortunate with Jordan Travis who was able to hide a lot of his offensive system's flaws. Here is to hoping we don't get savaged by Miami this Saturday. 😆
  5. Of course. Not going to happen. We’ll be lucky to win 2 of those.
  6. You and I both.
  7. I don’t think we have mega-donors like A&M had with Jimbo. Especially now with us having to pay NIL. Earliest I’ve heard we could let go of him, due to finances, is 2026.
  8. He’s got another year before he can be fired. Not sure we can even afford the buyout at that point. But most of the assistant coaches with the exception of Surtain, our DB coach, should be fired. December will be interesting to see what happens with the staff.
  9. One kid did yesterday.
  10. I don’t think you have much to worry about next week. This is the worst team we’ve fielded in over 50 years. I’ll certainly still be watching. But I’ll award you that win today.
  11. Enjoy it while it lasts. Looking forward to you dropping games when you play actual competition. Granted, that probably won't be us this year. Former Miami player keeping up the tradition. You stay classy miami.
  12. Second “win” miami got. Congrats.
  13. That was targeting. This is bullshit. What the fuck is going on that is trying to allow miami to keep winning?
  14. Will be rooting for Clemson to beat you since we probably can’t. 😂
  15. Haha. You guys lost that game to VT. You and everyone who saw that last play know it. Longest official review I’ve ever seen, unbelievable they overturned it. Congrats on being “5-0.” Bet the mood down south has soured a bit after this recent performance knowing how they perform against any team with even a bit of talent.
  16. Please don’t take Kiffin.
  17. My brother who is a Marine as well just received this. 😂
  18. Wtf is that? Was at our local SD meetup for the game, and will be there next week. ‘Noles forever, good and bad.
  19. Just saw a complete lack of tackling. You may be right.
  20. We are a dumpster fire. If Norvell doesn’t try our other QBs I don’t know what is going on in his head.
  21. They had something to prove because they had just lost their first game in about three years. And no, not all of their players played.
  22. Agree to disagree. If I had a possibility of making millions at the next level, I’d have a hard time justifying an injury in a game that meant nothing. Georgia shouldn’t have lost to Alabama.
  23. Will also be curious how Miami's NIL holds up with its mega-donor, John Ruiz, likely having his company go into bankruptcy. Sounds like in a single year he spent over $10m on Miami student athletes. That's about half of what top tier programs, i.e., OSU, appear to be spending, and about as much ($12m) as FSU can or has spent in the last year.
  24. I'll offer a counter-argument, I don't think Norvell and FSU have a culture problem. He took the reigns of a program in dire straights during COVID and zero ability to recruit in person. During his early tenure we replaced our AD, President, and the President of the boosters. He beat LSU twice and OU, which Saint Bowden was never able to do. We have had zero off field incidents since he has been here and the academic performance of the players has two years in a row broken records. He won 19 games in a row and went undefeated last year despite losing an NFL quarterback. Our problem is HS recruiting. We haven't had enough blue chip talent remain committed to the school, which is largely due to Norvell not holding his staff accountable. For that reason we don't have leaders who have been in the program for a long enough period of time, who are strong or great players, to lead the team. Saturday will be a big game for Norvell and we'll be better able to assess if losing by a walk off FG to a team in another country during week zero, and getting blown out by a team who has prepped for FSU for eight months was a one-off or not. Regardless, he has to hold his staff accountable, if they can't recruit, they can't stay.
  25. I didn’t think we could take an L during a bye week but yesterday had a 4* DL decommit and commit to Texas. 😂 At least ND takes the spot light off us for a bit! Tennessee looked stout.
