Was never an argument. The contrast between camaraderie and sense of mission accomplishment was my point. Of course the airlines are a better QOL for a family/raising kids long term, no denying that.
This right here fellas........just remember the almighty dollar/drug that is the airline career will NEVER compare to what we have accomplished in a 30+yr mil career which is why a preponderance of us still serve
Remember the mandatory DoD stand down day for DEI several years ago? How many millions/man hours/trng opportunities wasted sitting around in groups talking about this garbage...
Kids these days have no idea......
"sir, I have 2 leg, 1 chest, 2 shoulder, safety belt, zero delay, silver key, 3 personal leads, dun strap, I am on, normal, normal with good blinker, good pressure, my loose items are stowed, and one zipper open. How bout you?
Perfect storm...RJ descending out of IDTEK (490') just past VDP to line up and land/PAT cruising south down Route 1/4 at +100' deviation?; the vertical separation at that point in space has to be minimal at best
Wasn't there a SecDef/AF/DOD memo that came out a year ago "warning" of the possibility of popping positive due to poppy seed consumption? Basically a "we can't stop you from eating a poppy seed muffin but do so at your own risk"
