The moment GS positions are cut at a mil base, the state and federal level politicians lose their shit, both sides. They get on news and call the move outrageous, etc. Case in point, look up when DoD deleted JFCOM. However, about half of those cats were contractors. Early in my career, I spent some time around an office that lost it's work. Most of the workers were GSers. So they came in everyday and literally did nothing. Some tried to find busy work, rest played on the internet, and a SrA flirted with a married woman so much her husband left her. Point being, some of those GS are hired to do dumb things. I think we should try getting rid of the dumb things and not put it back on mil dudes. Just hit delete.

Listen to the whole Carmina Burana performance. With drinks. Here is the 2nd part of O Fortuna, Fortune Plango Vulnera. -
I worked with a JAG guy once and later ran into him. He swapped from prosecutor to defense as he said it's part of their career progression. He had gotten someone a not guilty on a drug charge from a urinalysis by decimating the process/program.

What's wrong with the Air Force?
disgruntledemployee replied to Catbox's topic in General Discussion
Quite true. On a deployment, my guys and MX SNCOs had an outstanding working relationship, all in the name of gittin it done. I don't think qweepy shit was ever mentioned between us. Years ago in another unit, we had a class 1 drama queen SMSgt. Talk about dramatics. I once drew a 9 and showed it as a score card. We later spoke in private. The mental structure this guy built in his head of how a military organization should operate was such that I hoped he never made chief. Overall, someone along the way helped mold the examples above and I do hope there are more of the top paragraph than the other. -
I like the Lions, but only if they get past The Pack. Dan the Man is ballsy. Respect. PS, 3 beers in among the relatives had a say in the previous rambling.

Yes to Theatrics. Like the bootlickers are backstabbing each other. Loomer and Bannon going after battery-boy Musk. Musk writing opinion that a labeled extremist entity, Alternative for GE, is the solution to issues in Germany. Trump has been mostly quiet. Maybe he's finally figured it out. As for executive level action, so far I have him following Musk's lead on funding the govt asshattery (Congressional theatrics). Will Trump be his own man or be manipulated by the likes of Musk? Once he takes power, we'll have more events to banter. Happy Holidays, may Oregon stomp OH St (although I'm Big 10), and God bless the Green Bay Packers.

Not excusing Biden admin, just predicting an even better/worse clown show. Here's a gif of the Chief Air Dicker.

Captain passed over for Major, looking for advice.

You got Chang'd! (ref to a certain forum guy). -
As anyone in Congress should, each and every time. An oath of office comes with a higher standard of conduct in my opinion.

Alright then. I've personally seen someone that was pretty much liberal turn super conservative but it was slowly and well over a decade of time. Maybe it takes that long for college indoc to wear off. With Tulsi, I guess we'll see.

Next four years will be the most epic clown show in history. I'm setting up Amazon subscribe n save on popcorn.

Lot of talk about Shadow President Musk, which I'm sure is meant to piss off Trump to over react. PS. Why does Trump want to raise the debt ceiling? I thought he was mandated to bring the budget back into balance.

And you do? And you didn't answer the question. Her past actions lead me to think she ain't what she says. Does it just take a well acted session with Rogan to set your opinions?

What is right with the Air Force

I'm offended Hades staff isn't shooting out giant streams of molten fire. -
So if Chuck Schumer scrapes the D off his letterhead for an R, you'll suddenly like him because he "changed" his mind on the world? What if AOC does that; isn't she seen as a disruptor too? Bernie? And so on? PS. Looks like the House will release their Gaetz report anyway, according to CNN. They couldn't just let it go. He was gone, out. Well, I think we may see some fuck around and find out, maybe some MAD.

I don't know man, maybe I was flying that day. And I DIDN'T say he was a good choice, just like I did above.

Yep, she's a Democrat. You usually put a solid D in the DNC, not someone that waffles on the D platform. As for the sexist part, there are plenty of posts on this forum that Harris only got as far as she did because she was a woman and innuendo'd certain womanly acts. I'm not saying that, although I wouldn't put it past Trump to pick her just for him to see her everyday. I'm saying she is a Democrat with no IC experience. Why can't we have a solid R that has some IC experience? Is that too much to ask? Isn't that what you want? I can't understand the die hard, rah rah for her. Is it just because Trump picked her? As for cleaning house, which one? If you've never interacted with a DNI, then I understand why you think this. I'm not saying I know more, but I got an hour presentation from one years back and it was enlightening. It's an important role, probably one of the hardest because the ODNI is not in charge of the other IC entities and has to herd cats, and is a role worthy of Senate confirmation. Lastly, this all stemmed from an article that says her Senator meetings are going poorly; unprepared they say. In your example, I'll bet that dude crushed it by learning everything they could about the world they were about to enter. But at least is still a pilot. Just making the point, not defending the person in the role was a good choice.

Not really. It's like hiring a Civil Affairs Officer to be in charge of the Intel world.

And here is CNN saying, don't shoot them down. https://www.yahoo.com/news/residents-want-shoot-down-reported-090042698.html Like any skeet/trap shooter ever watches CNN.

That's what I'm thinking, a search. I saw above a pic that had tweet words that alluded to arming a drome with a gamma source. Might as well say what is going on and why. If it is a search, bad dudes probably figured out they're being hunted. Some John Q might have seen something. When someone shoots one down and they analyze the payload, or live feed video of the black SUVs that arrive to get the thing, the gig is up.
-
Acquiring, let alone handling to flying a gamma ray souce would result in some serious radiation sickness to someone doing that without containment. Containers for such are heavy and maybe out of drone capabilities. That doesn't mean someone won't try to steal a source and try to fly it, but it's not as easy as people think.

Let me say this way and you might get it. When it comes to hiring someone to fly an airplane, you at least want a pilot. There. Does that make any sense now?
