  1. We only have a 1.5 hour layover. Will be cutting it close with getting through customs and what not. I'm counting on not making it as there isn't another flight into OMA that night. If that happens we'll be good because it will be better for us to leave back out of OMA anyway. We'll see I guess.
  2. I hear this quite often but I have been using them for 4 years now quite frequently and haven't had any issues other than the non stop sales to passengers while in the air. Well worth it for the cheap fares.
  3. To piggyback on this thread, what is the reasoning behind the following situation for the airline I have a round trip flight booked from UK to Nebraska with a plane swap in MSP. Our families plans have changed and it would be better for us to just get off and stay off in MSP rather than take the puddle jumper down to Omaha. Called the airline and they say that if we don't use the whole ticket, the return trip will be canceled. Can someone give me a reason why this would be? In my eyes, the airline is making out both ways as the plane will be three people lighter and they are still getting their money. They can even open those seats to standby passengers.

Did the above tests as well for my waiver. Everything came out fine. Here is to hoping.

Anyone see a $2.00 ATM Service fee show up? Normally I get about 12 dollars BACK for fees. This month I was charged $2.00. Don't think I used the ATM's that much more this month.

What do you guys pay for your plans? I've heard it is up near 70 dollars a month!

Going to attempt to cross into the FE world this summer. I had a bad concussion back in 98 (high school). Is this going to require a waiver for my flight physical?
  10. There are more than you think. Not enough, but some. https://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/20...-congress_x.htm
  11. Finished it the other night. Great stuff. Not a pilot but would have loved to be a fly on the wall out there during the years. Really wish the maintainers would have ponied up some info for the book. I'm sure some of the miracles they pulled off on a daily basis will be good fodder for another book :)
  12. Sorry Steve, I should have told you they gave me grief about them as well. I just marked them out and came back the next day. Didn't know you were sending more out.
  13. Who killed Kennedy?
  14. Thats another thing. Did they just log their MIG time as T-38 and others or what?
  15. I sent the remaining copies out yesterday (Tuesday).
  16. Know any of the maintenance guys over there with you? I'm very interested in giving it a shot. Can you hook me up with someone over there doing it now.

What a letdown. I appreciate the work these guys are doing but they are starting to sound a bit whacko to me.
  18. Haven't heard diddly from USAFE.
  19. Yup, even got a couple of cute bar maids to rub your feet.
  20. I'll gladly sign you on base or just pick up the books at the gate, whichever you feel more comfartable with. Email me at kruse.adamATgmail.com
  21. It's not even April dude.
  22. I know there are a few of us right next door on Lakenheath. I would be willing to send some downrange for anyone who is interested. Would save some shipping time.
  23. Or the moral could be don't give up your assigned seat to some bitch who thinks it's his.
  24. Wasting your money, those lock "keys" are a dime a dozen. Just draws attention to your bag as containing possible values.
  25. It is simply amazing to see the level of detail they can contribute the crash to most of the time. When I think of a crash after take off I'm not picturing too much intact pieces of the aircraft left. To be able to have enough of the aileron linkage left to determine that it broke from fatigue is amazing. Would love to go to the Crash Investigation course sometime.
